What more do you want? It automatically hits for you when you hit the trigger button. Is that not enough?? Seems pretty damn powerful to me. Nothing said it had to be the 'end all' anti-sniper weapon.

But I already replied to this question you asked before it was even posted.

I think you quoted the wrong thing, because that doesn't even remotely answer my question.

Like the idea OP, haven't played much PvP personally to experience lots of infector anal probing
Maybe they could have it similar to other games where the projectiles fire out ridiculously wide at first and then convene/home in on the target at the range you have stated (25-30m), so the only way to use it at lower ranges would be point blank, but against a shotgun user u'd have little chance...

Wait a second... You haven't played much PvP, haven't seen a problem with Immunizers, but you're willing to completely cripple them for everyone under most circumstances just because you saw a PvPer whine about them? OMG! You work for Trion! It's a dev! Hey, everybody! It's a dev!

A overpower SAW or blur shotgun combo will dismantle most immunizer users with little hastle in PVP, I use them as a back up but 70-80% of the time I am using a pump shotgun. Detonators and SAWs are way more of a threat most of the time.

Try removing homing abilities from hipfire (for all infectors); then give the Immunizer a scope.

    For mature, casual gamers, BYOB.

I thought of a possible fix. It is supposed to be anti-sniper right? Why not make it only effective past a certain range. That way it still has some kind of "unique quality," lives up to the description, and makes sure it isn't the "go to" weapon for everything.

Perhaps maybe it doesn't do anything unless the target is at least 25-30m away. That way to best strategy would be to charge them, and/or bio them so they don't kite you.

It would still be powerful, but doesn't **** it up too bad, and gives me a way to beat it besides luck.

Something could be done about the mobile range of the bugs, I had a herd of them after me all the way up (Ground to 3rd floor) the parking garage, and into the chute to 'B' before they died.
Just because you keep getting killed by a certain weapon doesn't mean it needs nerfed.

The funny thing about it being a anti-sniper weapon is no-one really uses Snipers in PvP and this is where people are complaining about the Immunizer.
Long range weapons should require ADS and be single shot or semi-automatic.
Not full auto hip firing weapons.

and when I do use snipers, I only get killed by other snipers.

Change the reticle. If the target isn't within the general area of the reticle, then the shots should not home into that target.
The ridiculous amount of bunny hoppers in this game is almost a direct result of detonators and infectors
