I have level'd like crazy (xp, weapons, etc) with the infected roadside stuff. All have crit areas and take damage nicely. Yeah you don't get keys, but you get AS and loot you can turn in to AS, which is basically a key per 1k.

The best ones are the raider one, scan the patients one and the dark matter outpost ones. The Dark Matter ones are nice because not a lot of people cruise SF.

The raider area ones will also pick up a wandering hulker occasionally, so that is yet more xp.

I just drive around hitting those and keeping an eye open for sieges. Sieges are insane xp.

This is what I do too. I try to stop at every little thing I come across.

Yes sieges give weapon xp as well, they really need to make it so all enemies at arkfalls reward weapon xp besides the matron and progenitor and some of the minor arkfall enemies. They don't want you to power level the way you are wanting I think swatti, roadsides were so easy to finish and reward so much xp and scrip that they were just giving keys away like that. Why would anyone queue up for a co-op or pvp besides doing contracts or pursuits. The nerf to Mine 99 highlights the fact they don't want that kind of power leveling.

The Scrapper ones in SF are a little harder if you're lower or using weaker weapon skills (unleveled), but they can tend to pop a forge which are great for leveling weapons. If you're using a main weapon you should be able to blow through any scrapper one very easy and they are often up.

    Leveling Up!

I have been playing this game since its release in April. I first met Nim when I was at ego 848 and he just tore me apart. I finally moved away after about 30 trys and decided to just increase my ego level. I've done that by doing all the boring stuff - replay replay replay along with cleaning up my Pursuits and Contracts. I'm presently at level 2225. I have to agree there is a need for more new content or a DLC in a hurry! I'm holding out for the one that is supposed to come by the end of July!!
My biggest beef is the inclusion of successfully achieveing silver or gold levels in Rampages and Speed Trials. There should be other options to complete these pursuits as I did not buy this game to play "racer" or test my skill in senseless shotouts!

First the trials and rampages have to go. Making optional stuff mandatory for pursuits is insane and not well thought out. Side quests I rarely do my map is still full of them (even though I am slowly clearing it out) I to have been here since release for the first week I didn't even bother with pursuits. Choice would be better for the time trials and rampage, hell I'd rather have to kill 50k+ more mobs then do them.

As for levleing Minor arkfalls are pretty quick and easy to do. Waves make it even easier and at 4-5k per minor and about 5-10minutes (depending on how many people show up) make them a very quick and easy way to gain xp. As of the patch today (assuming it isn't too borked) we will get weapon xp from Major arkfalls as well. Now if they would just bring in Afflicted seiges until the DLC gets here things would be a little more exciting.. again.

I'd say quickly doing every Arkfall you see. Side benefit is gaining your Arkfall count for the Season 2 contest along with good XP, keys, loot, and now weapon XP.

I agree with Silt - bring back the Sieges as they were fun. Speaking of which I have tried Shadow Wars a few times and don't think I have been on for longer than 10 secs. before getting destroyed! I don't find that very motivating and it's a big reason I have stayed away from pvp.

You're like the first person I've seen complain about time trials and hotshots in Pursuits. Pursuits are there to give incentive to do them and they vary the gameplay a little bit. I had a blast playing and getting Gold on them all my first time. I hope they introduce a lot more in DLC.

Side missions not so much since they are kinda boring and repetitive.

I have gone for lvl 500 to 3650 just doing emergencies and arkfalls, and weapon skill pursuits. I wish I had completed all my time trials before they added the volge, they must make some races impossible. I just started ignoring story and have never gone back, I did enough side missions to figure out i don't need so many white mods. The infected were a great way to get exp, they still are for the limited time the emergencies are around. Shame sieges weren't part of the replay...

I don't do pvp so I am ignoring some pursuits. I still have all the rampages on my map, once i have all 4 titles from the combat pursuits I guess I will return and try them again. I mainly concentrate on weapon skills now, I have all the perks already so I don't get experience for anything. Killing things just for a kill count on snipers at moment. When I get bored I go do arkfalls.

Well you say you don't care about achievements, but the fact it bugs you so much having one thing left tells me you are indeed a bit of a completionist, which is exactly what an achievement hunter is Don't deny your love to hate it!
