And what a you forgot to mention is not everyone can read or understand the T&C's. It is their responsibility to inform customers beforehand about issues and they should remove the product if it can't be used. I am to assume every time you buy anything you check their policies etc etc?
Don't be such a fool to think people don't have any rights when being robbed of their money. We have a right to complain, we have a right to a refund under consumer law and we have the right to inform others about these issues so they don't make these mistakes again and learn from it.
Thanks for your input but it wasn't helpful.

Actually, no, it's not. You cannot sign away your rights, and a contract cannot violate the law.
They can put in the ToS anything they like, that does not mean it will stand up in court -- anything but.
Non-delivery of paid for services? Yeah, definitely not something you can just wish away with a contractual clause in pretty much any Western Jurisdiction.
The only reason most of this crap doesn't get tossed out in court is that it costs way, way, way more in time and money to litigate it than it is worth.
So you believe they're wrong and deluded because 8 people on Twitter agree with you. Wow, what world do you live in? I can get 20 people on Twitter to believe that I'm God. By your rationale that means I am God.
Guess what I can find a lot of posts on this forum from people that never had a problem with boosts at all. More than 8. Oh, do I need to go on Twitter?
And I've played over 500 hours in this game (well over), bought multiple boosts, had one boost fail, reported it and promptly was refunded bits I used for it.
Also, I defy you to find one thing in this world that is perfect, even one game in the history of gaming that has worked flawlessly. I also defy you to find one company that uses any form of ingame transaction or that has ever gotten money from their customers that has not had some issue resulting in people not getting what they paid for. This is the reason companies have CS, support, and so on-for bugs, glitches, and so on.
Actually in effect you can sign away your rights. It happens all the time. People do so in court and in other legally binding ways. Commit a crime and you have signed away some of your rights upon conviction. This is a fallacy to say it's not so. The difference is in what area of law, criminal or civil, would apply. If I pay for services and agree that if something happens and that service is not received I will not hold the provider responsible there is a limit to what I can recover. It happens all the time-the only time it usually is not acceptable is in the case of something that is not optional and games are optional as opposed to getting surgery, where you do also sign an explicit waiver. But where you also can sue for problems.
In the case of lost game bits, good luck proving that and then good luck in explaining just exactly what you lost, especially if you purchased clan boosts.
The problem is you are thinking more of physical items or tangible goods that are paid for and not delivered. The digital world has its own set of rules and as yet the courts are ill-equipped to deal with anything related to such stuff. The problem is you are not buying a good or even a service, you are buying vapor. Copyright laws (rules, really) are unable to deal with digital content and the law is not able to adequately assess just what you should receive and isn't going to allow you into court based upon your word alone.
Nothing you purchase digitally is actually an item you own. Licensing laws and rules aren't subject to the same things as other tangible items. Go to court against Trion and prove you didn't get what you purchased. Others have tried to sue companies for some very provable things (what they said in advertising and so on-tangible things) but the lawsuits have been thrown out before they got started because it's almost impossible to prove this stuff.
They need to just get rid of boosts until they are fixed. Im not spending anymore money on the game until they fix all of the issues.
Why the hell would you buy boosts in the first place? There is nothing to be gained by leveling faster except to stop playing sooner.
All you do is try and put people point of view down by thinking your rite.
