So is it gonna be fixed so I don't have to press a and bring up the Xbox keypad window when trying to use the chat pad to talk with other players in game. It's a hindrance and annoying when trying to talk to someone. PLEASE FIX

I know right. It should be if you have a chat pad you just open chat window and start typing. And the fact that I can't type curse words in just ruins my vocabulary lol
I don't get an xbox window when using the chat pad for player chat. Only for feedback. I press Enter on the pad and type what I want, then press Enter again.
The cursing bleeps do not bother me except it's too censored. A mature rated game wont let me type poop shoes.
All you have to do is press ENTER on the chat pad that will then let u type in the box without bringing up that daft on screen keyboard..
Oh okay I'll give it a try later thanks!
Chatpad: enter - chat chat chat - enter
Works pretty well, much easier than taking hands off controller to type on a plugged in full keyboard.
Just keep in mind though, if you start typing with the chat pad and then press X or something thinking it will back space, instead of using the backspace key. It will then bring up the dashboard window for typing (I was continuously doing it, cause I'm used to X being delete when typing a msg from the dashboard when using the pad).
Nothing against typing. I have a USB keyboard that I can use, but in this day and age, voice chat should be commonplace and far superior to text chat.
VOIP is not overly complicated, and the bandwidth constraints on the central servers are not terrible. With the advancements made recently in Unified Communications and Collaboration, I do not see a need to have a heavily developed text chat.
Here's a question on the chat pad. (I got one for this game).
Can anyone see what I'm typing? I see it on my screen, but will it appear for example on anyone bound to the same area?
OR do they have to bring up their chat window?
