ok im on ps3 and it says im classified under elite for defiance but it isnt checked off the list when i look at the rewards is this normal until its released or is something wrong with mine?

Both; the best option is to have the app running and it'll calculate how many hours you've (roughly) played the game. If you need to, sometimes you have to join the community or manually add the game into your listing.

I hope i can use the codes on the 360. It tracks my game time pretty well.

It can not track Defiance for me, because i havent dl from Steam.
And i cant find option to add manually

Join the community or from your dock, click the "My Games" option, hit the little wrench-shaped button, and Scan Games. That SHOULD be enough. Worked for me.

Nope, because i dont have the game installed.
I was torrented the game client and now it works like ripped game.

So it seems i must download through Steam and then i should be able to track the game via Raptr.

I downloaded my original copy from a torrent; really it's a crapshoot but it's not hard, just takes a little trial and error to install some games. Basically if you can install RIFT and Warcrack, you can install Defiance for tracking.
