Population state of decay

The "announcement" of the DLC release "date" really broke my spirit. As friend after friend stopped playing (including my favorite playing partner who took the game back after the social problems this last weekend) I told everyone I was going to wait and get the first DLC and then see. I foolishly hoped is was going to be today (LOL) so that late July (August in Trion-speak) thing really got me down.

I have an original 360 with a 20 gig hard drive. Between Defiance and my shiny new free download of Fable III Im under 500mb free space. I havent played in 3 days but I come to the forums to see if there is going to be anything to stop me deleting and bring me back to playing before the DLC comes out. Havent seen it yet...

That's my point whats is there to make the population grow or the population to come back. Then you have to wonder how long will trion support a game that's making no money you can't keep throwing money at something that is failing , so what is the cut off point

You're doing it wrong. If you're letting the vocal minority that you're seeing here on the forums dictate wether or not you'll play this game then you might as well sell it now. And for the love of God don't visit any other gaming forums or you might stop gaming altogether.

I don't think so trion sold the game as an MMO the game is short on content and has no replay value. Do you really expect people to play the same mindless things over and over. Content was needed sooner not later that's why the population is going down

I'd personally rather have the content later as long as some of the major issues are fixed in place of the content. Imagine the train wreck if Trion had indeed pushed out that content back in May. With the patch history Defiance's players would have been buried under a mountain of bugs and glitches.

I'll not deny that I have lost my temper a few times on this forum, but I can assure you that there are much better specimens that me if you are looking for a role model.
