There are those other major arkfalls where the main objective is to kill hellbugs. Not sure why people don't do what I did and use those arkfalls for progressing that pursuit...

Its possible some of them don't know of the other types yet. Mt Tam is the site of most destroy crystal arkfalls, the people in that zone may not be aware of the blue crystals as yet.

I just ignore MT Tam arkfalls now, much less pain (especially since its one location where arkfalls still fail). If I do them, I use my canker on the crystal and hope just 1 skitterling manages to live long enough to create 1 weak spot and then I can get my crits ticking off for rest of fight (all I got to do is keep 3 dots on it). Since 99% of skitterlings die before they get a chance to do their job, me using a Canker won't be an issue.

If its a full on fireworks display by time I reach the crystal, I go to another and hope its a little more sane. Canker sure does speed up the arkfalls, the added speed of destruction also gives all the other people something to do as it seems to speed up the generation of bugs (the killable ones, not the game destroying ones). As for me killing things I shouldn't be, if I use a canker I often get to end of arkfall with only 4 kills (but 1.8million damage) so its not me killing the skitterlings (I wonder if crystals count as kills).

No, that's rubbish. The pursuit is for killing (which you only get for getting the killshot), so by only hitting them you are not getting any progress - tagging only means you will get ammo/loot drops. And most importantly, skitterlings are ridiculously weak and yes, you will kill most of them before they get a chance to bite. Stop using the BMG on crystals or you are part of the problem.

You may not like me for this but... when I had to do the enemies killed at major arkfalls pursuit I killed a lot of skitterlings and even at destroy the crystalls I did not do it in my car though and can I blame others for doing it... no I cant because its the kind of arkfall with the most things to kill otherwise that pursuit would just be a grinding nightmare. Lije the revives one which I enlisted my friend in to help with you can still kill the crystal and I know it isnt perfect but were not all as patient and want to do pursuits abd get then out the way.

What I did for the kills was to find the lesser arkfall that was farthest away from a fast travel point and kill skits until others show up and move on to the next. Usually got about 100-150 kills at a time.

Do admit, with a wolf hound those crystals drop really quick. I rather enjoy it.

Idk about the game being more fun when less people are there. That seems ... weird... for a mmo.

I know the forums are more fun than the game for me right now, so that's why I'm here.. otherwise I'd be playing instead of typing.

I think that's fairly unique, at the very least I can't think of another MMO I've personally played where simply being a newbie ruins the game for other players.

Flawed premise. Being a newbie doesn't ruin the game for other players. Being an idiot/******-bag does. When I started doing Arkfalls, it took me less than 5 minutes to figure out what I was supposed to be doing. Interestingly, pretty much any team-based game is 'ruined' by idiots and ******-bags on your team.

I wish I could kill players in PvE in this game sometimes, actually A LOT of times, I'd pay for that feature.
