Im reading everywhere Defiance is dying a slow death, I havent got the season pass yet. With dlc coming at the end of July, would it be wise just to purchase the single dlc and wait and see how the game plays out or just buy the pass and never look at defiance again after august
You would be crazy to buy the season pass at this point and I actually like the game.
Yea. Wait. Don't be an idiot like me. I'm stuck with all of them. I paid $50 when I pre ordered the game and bought the season pass. I'm positive I won't be playing the game when the last dlc comes out. Hell I might not make it to the first one.
I tried to support the game and got the pass a day after I got the game. Things just kept getting worse so I can't honestly recommend it.
I wish they offered refunds on the pass for folks wanting to bail before the DLC is released.
As with buying anything in advance its a gamble. I have bought the season pass as i enjoy the game and think it has potential. I could lose interest later down the line but i knew this when buying it.
I feel the same way, ill most likely buy it this upcoming Saturday and it'll be interesting to see what they can come up with in terms of DLC. My char's ego is only 2600 something so there is a lot more room for me to level up.Originally Posted by Milofo

They don't charge monthly fees for this game, so they already made their bulk profit. Less active players doesn't change their cash flow (except bits, but I'm sure that's small anyway), even if no one plaid this game for months straight, they already made money. If a small percent are still playing, the servers will continue.
