Enter a different phase while racing.

So many races are negatively affected by roadside encounters or Arkfalls. Oh and Hulkers too!!!! If players entered a different phase this would not be an issue. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah something like this would be nice.

I just came back to Defiance after not playing for a while. Not because I disliked the game, but because I had gotten tired of the same thing all the time, and all the issues this game STILL has.

I decided to play the Dodge High Speed Challenge since it was about to expire, and I figured, might as well complete that contract. I was having a great run, then started approaching a gate that had a group of 99ers there, including a Blacklung right in the middle of the gate. Of course my car hits him, explodes, and I was stuck to running for a period of time that guarantees you have lost the race.
I quit less than a minute after, and am not looking to play this game for yet awhile more.

Trion, you really seem to make decisions by the seat of your pants, and not with any thorough thinking, or testing first. In addition, it takes you way too long to correct the mistakes or oversights that offend so many players, and drive them away. It's a damn good thing this isn't a subscription based game, because you would have a ghost town of a mmo.

This is not walk in the park or watching a movie.
You should know how to beat the timer, despite the odds.
