Can i use my defiance disc for two ps3s? And does the data save online?

I believe yes, your data is connected to your psn account if im not mistaken, anywhere you log in under your account should have your character.

You would still need two discs to be able to play both at the same time. At least that's what I am assuming since I don't get an option to launch Defiance if the disc isn't in my ps3

Yea you can, your character is saved to your psn. You will just have to install the game and download all the patches. But once that's done you just have to just take the disk with you each time you go your dads and play like you were at home.

Someone else told me that it saves on the ps3 itself and i need ps plus to keep my data is this true?

No, I used the game at my brothers on my account an it worked fine. Its the patches and updates that save to the ps3, everything else is all online through your psn. Its like if you play cod... you can log in on a different ps3 and your character is still there. Hope that helps

*Better example... I have friends who have given there passwords to each other so when they have gotten stuck on the game, the other logs in for them and does the mission
