    Exactly true.

As it is now......it's too......repetitive, for lack of a better term.
Like a hamster just running in a circular wheel.

They need to break things up a bit more.
    In one simple word......diversify.

    Sieges are a good plus.
An open world needs a large stage, and plenty of variety. That's one of the (if not THE) most appealing aspects of an MMO.
From what I've seen in the past with many MMOs is that the amount of different things to do can largely affect how players see it.

Ah, but we can't forget the most likely problem with larger events. Unanticipated bugs, yes you can test everything out as much as you want until your heart's content - But nothing will equal to what real traffic will account for. Another problem with large scale events is the inevitable lag, now this.. this will definitely be apparent if these events did already exist.

Diversity would without a doubt +1 this game as well, even just adding life to the general game such as wildlife; mutated or otherwise (Another show/game tie in). We see some form of wildlife within the show but yet none in the game itself despite the fact that they share the same universe, so to speak. That could even open up the possibility of a small revenue to make profit off depending on how its implemented. Killing the wildlife aka. hunting and taking their hides or whatever they'd have would add something for those that would enjoy doing that and they could sell them off to NPCs. Drops similar to how ammo, shields/weapons after killing wildlife wouldn't work, in my opinion, possibly even just having the animation of when you 'investigate' an item on the ground during a mission or side mission would work fine.

Where would those NPCs reside? Your guess is as good as mine, but if the game and show truly does share the same universe then one or two major towns or social hub aka. a city (possibly?) could be created in one of the future contents and with those locations you have the ability to include some buildings that could offer a genuine use to us as players, rather than having them be just aesthetic. Yet another show/game tie in, just look to the town Defiance and what it consists off in its streets and what not in the episodes that have already aired. It just adds more in depth immersion to the overall atmosphere in general.

I'm slightly veering off topic now though. All in all, sieges are great. Yes, for those that are unprepared or not well equipped at the time they may or may not be difficult. The length of time that they last? Eh.. they could be longer. I mean, there's not much else to do PvE side when you finish all of the side missions, main missions and have relatively lengthy arkfalls, short sieges and the occasional emergency you feel like doing to bounce back and forth from. It leaves us with something a bit more.. 'beefy' to sink our teeth into if they were at least a bit longer. The longer they are though, the more rewards that can be reaped, this would also allow the once every (enter reasonable time interval) to be included. The longer they are, the more rewards therefore the least frequent they should be.

In regards to the variety of world events? There's not that much to go on as it stands right now, but there's a large potential to create some pretty unique ones under the right mindset. How to implement them? That's down to whoevers job it is to do so.

That's pretty much what it comes down to.

And just to note: We do see SOME wildlife. Pows. Though they're the only one's I've seen.

That's true, pows would come under wildlife. But as I'm sure you know, what I meant is a bit more than just the occasional mutated cow and such haha. Sometimes it's just the small things that add to scenarios, on the other hand larger ones can also have the same if not a bigger impact. Fingers crossed some life comes to Defiance, whether it be through varied world events (both in difficulty and in general), little novelties such as selling hides and what not or towns and even cities that would offer genuine use to the players; social or otherwise.
