This^^. At the very least it should have a higher boost amount and/or boost refill. That way the Red Challenger can still be the fastest, but the Black can boost for longer.

Challengers handle like Bricks on wheels. I'm able to barely stay ahead of someone using a Challenger, while I'm in my Hannibal. Without boosting. It's Black/Gold and has higher stats than all of my other ones.

Black and Gold has the same stats as every other 800R actually with the one exception of the red one you get with ark codes which is slower. I'm looking at the 6 I have right now, Cyan, White, Black, Black and Gold, white and green, and Red (non ark code) .. all identical. And yes over hills you will out match a challenger because runners handle hills much better than rollers, but on even nearly flat terrain a roller of any type will stomp you out with equal skill levels.

Challengers have speed, but they are designed purely for use only on a road. They also lack the maneuverability for tight turns. They do get better as you use them to raise your level in them........and just when you get adjusted to the nuances with them.

They're pretty much useless in SF though.

I only have a few vehicles because I go by what I'm gonna use.
I have both an Orange Hemi and a Metallic Challenger. The metallic is for it's stats. The Orange Hemi is because since they don't have a Charger, it's the closest I can get to a General Lee (wiki Dukes of Hazzard for those who don't know the reference).

Nope, I have a ton of Hannibal's, and two of them have higher stats than the rest.

Which is exactly why there's come confusion. The Nomad WILL lose a race to a Duni on anything but SELECT few places. I know, I've raced my wife 100s of times trying to find the best vehicle, both of us using every type. With the winding roads, and the hills, in any protracted race, even exclusively on roads, will lose to a duni because of 2 things.

1.) obstacles in your way, and your ability to move around them
2.) hills and your ability to climb them

Every vehicle is best at SOMETHING, but more times than not, because of emergencies in your way, hills you can't climb, or turns you can't make, Duni wins.

Am I saying it's the best in all situations, of course not. Am I saying that in my experience it'll get you there faster more times than not, absolutely.

Top speed isn't everything, I think most of us probably learned that with old school games. Mario Cart, F-Zero, etc. There's an almost infinite amount of unknowns.

Though the challenger has a top speed of about a mile and a half more than most duni's the recharge on the boost for duni's is much faster to where on most situations, a duni is gonna beat a challenger from point A to B.

But only by a small margin. Where the duni truly beats out the challenger is in handling. Its that handling/maneuverability across maps with varied terrain that can potentially slow down a less maneuverable vehicle like the challenger that makes the duni's beat em out.

Well personally I didn't expect the Nomad to be the fastest thing, but I expected it to be capable of ramming things with ease. I can only run over about 3 Mine 99's before my Nomad explodes.
As much as I understand the car nerf, I feel the nomad should be a bit more buffed with the ramming right now... Even with Hell on Wheels it doesn't do much justice out on the road to run things over.

I'm not talking about mobs, I'm taking about the things it can't go around because of handling, or the fact that it's much much wider. Same with challenger. Flaming cars, sand bags, enemy vehicles.
