Even though i have a few hemi's and a one of each of the other types (Or more) I still prefer buggies. They aren't the fastest but they are easier to get to max speed, the hemi needs a longer distance to max out and don't include too many hills in that. I am just missing the white buggy and then I will have them all.

99ers on ps3 must have been nerfed as I can easily run over about 5 now without buggy starting to flash (boss class not included). Also don't need to come to complete stop to regen life anymore.

Those are the 650R runners you were speaking of.

The Challengers are faster than any other vehicle in terms of top speed, but they take a bit longer to get to that speed and their boosts are not that great. The Dunis are generally the best vehicles in the game for getting around. They're sort of a happy medium between speed, boost length, agility, and ability to handle the terrain. None of the vehicles are perfect and of course all of them are victim now the vehicle nerf which means you can only hit a few minor enemies before your car goes kaput, but I think the Dunis pretty much are the best bet for overworld travel.

Faster? Yes, but the Challenger is a god damn boat.

The challenger is faster than the duni, yes. And the red challenger is faster than any other vehicle, including other challengers. People will say "The duni is faster on hills" or whatever, sadly I don't believe vehicles (in a given class) in this game truly have that distinction, just watch a major arkfall, the challenger will take hills just as fast if not faster. Its a perception thing. Its like I don't feel slow when I am driving my truck, but truth is its the slowest roller in the game.
This is quite true-perception. I have all Challengers except for the red one. The Metallic feels faster than any of them but is really only different in boost refill and capacity. That does effectively make it able to get to places faster but maybe just maybe it also applies momentum to the vehicle, so it is faster.

The Dunis seem more nimble and this can make them seem faster as can the boost refill and all that. And they get to top speed faster. The Challengers seem very slow when you start driving them.

That's because they ARE really slow at first.
The straighter the road.....the faster they speed up. That's also why they don't handle tight turns well. Anyone who wants to find out, go full speed then take a turn.
