Defiance steam pre-order

I pre-ordered the game on steam, do I use the cd keys for the game to activate it on this account? how do I go about doing that?

If you have keys you got to the Trion site register and use the apply code tab. you can do it now or later doesnt matter.

Go to Trion's Defiance site, open account control panel, go to "Apply code" section, apply code.

right click on the game in your steam library to get the keys

then go to trion account management and apply the code
