indeed, welcome to a world of much better definition. since it also plays bluray with 3d and such, if you have a capable surround sound system (I run a 7.2 atm in home) you will notice while watching the same movies from dvd to bluray, not only are they looking better, but you will hear things you never heard before with the lossless audio, a pure uncompressed format. xbox can only simulate the upper dolby codecs (which also remove pieces and condense data).Originally Posted by hey u

As a fellow turncoat, I agree. I'm very happy about having switched. BTW, -if- you get the inkling, check out Playstation Plus. After giving money to Xbox Live for a decade for well...nothing...Plus is such a refreshing change. I paid 17-18 bucks (for 3 months, so cheaper than Live) and got so many freaking free game downloads (GOOD games too, not the stuff nobody wants anyway) that I don't even know where to begin.
