"Hidden" Code list/discussion

Places I was thinking of looking: whois data, image info, file names, and hexidecimal for website colors...

Ideas I'm not doing yet or am incapable of: using regular expressions and shell code to create a list of all series of six alpha-numerics preceded and followed by non-alpha-numerics that are present in all pages on defiance.com, and running all code through w3c for errors that might draw attention to certain sections.

GF reserved our two copies of Ultimate yesterday. Looking forward to playing as an Ark Hunter couple. Granted we do alot of coop and vs together, but not MMO. Should be fairly entertaining.

i was thinking theres a lot of new-ish hunters out there now. i would say to people please look back at what codes have been found. even if you have already entered them from the spread sheet or other places.

2 reasons, 1 it gives you an idea of what codes look like, for example not a single has been to small to be seen with the naked eye as of yet. also they do tend to stand out (doesnt mean deep investigation wont find anything). 2 because and more importantly you might think of locations we havnt like another website thats mainstream to investigate ie non english like russian or chinese, or some kind of web based programing that is easy to access.

personally im working on the idea of what would trion do. for a start i highly highly doubt they have access or can talk the sites into putting codes into there source or bury it. everyone on every other website (non trion run) have had its keys within advertising etc which they get a third party to run. (they still provide the images) not to suggest its not worth a try, but i dont think its worth to much time.

most of all keep up the damn fine work!

It's awesome Case. My hubby and I have played mmo's together for years (think WoW vanilla) and we love it. In a PVP aspect you are the team within the team. No matter how fast a vent server or teamspeak server is it isn't the same as when you're sitting side by side in the same room. Hope you and your GF get as much out of it as we do.

I just found out about this event. I'm do not know coding or all the fancy stuffs, but I will keep both eyes open as I comb through everything and anything possible. I did noticed something odd though, but i was wondering if anyone has noticed it too. could this be one of them? CTRL+A and you will notice below there is a hidden text on this page, but its not six alphanumeric tho *LI-SF.

All the other Defiance related job(career) page do not have this, its only on this page ..felt kinda odd though

I concur with this advice. I found my first 5 codes on my own before I checked to see if anyone else was posting codes and since then I have physically seen every code on the spreadsheet. Every code is clear and visible without having to squint or zoom in; just have to hit the pause button to see them sometimes or un-mirror the image to get the letters in the right order.

I've spent hours using google to search for variations of Trion and Defiance and VBI and clicking every link on the first 10 pages looking for new sites for ads and takeovers. I've gone through every web page on all the Trion worlds sites looking at the code, at the names and alts of the picture files, at every URL, I've highlighted the page looking for masked codes. I've tried to translate some of the language splashed everywhere. I've gone through the Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Twitch sites for Defiance looking at posts and links and images and watched every video at least 5 times. I was looking at code on the web pages before you found that one but I wasn't diligent enough to check every page so now I have. I was watching the names of the players in the Twitch videos for the last month but I was asleep and missed today's when you guys caught that code.

So for you new Arkfall Code Hunters joining us, go back and review the codes already found and get creative on where to look for more.
