a man with taste! i was brought up with black adder, red dwarf etc. my other half seems to think it might be where i got my cynical nature from. i have no idea what shes on about, i would argue the point but why bother?

Unfortunately I wasnt introduced to him until my early 20s and my first Naval deployment. After watching all of it I was like this man is a prophet. His delivery really hit a spot. Drove my superiors crazy. Now though it's one of those shows I put on to kick back and relax. Brian Blessed makes me laugh so freaking hard is season 1 its not even funny.

just caught the end of a defiance commercial on syfy, but didn't see anything that would be a code.

brian blessed is a god amongst men here in the uk. he is a legend! so is stephen fry, the captain darling scetches crack me up.

but red dwarf has some of the best lines in tv history! "go to red alert" , "are you sure sir?" , "yes i am sure go to red alert" , "But it does mean changing the bulb?".

or "we ran out of cows milk months ago", "what we been drinking?" , "dogs milks", "dogs milk!" , "yea it lasts longer then cows milk" , "why?" , "no bugger will drink it, full of goodness, full of vitamins, full of marabone jelly"

less cynical more physical but brilliant non the less

iv said it once, ill say it a million times british comedy in 80's early 90's is still some of the best. (imho ofc)
