"Hidden" Code list/discussion

Think everyone needs to come to my place for some High Octane coffee, 1/2 cup coffee-12 cup pot, guaranteed to wake you up.... on the other hand i think Lance and the Devs could use some. I know we could use some breaks in our code hunting...3 days without a new code.

Coffee puts me to sleep believe it or not lmao. If I cant sleep, or if I am driving.. It makes me very tired. Same with 5hr energy shots lol. drank one, almost drove off the road lmao! (yes I was wide awake before hand - just wanted to try it out)

i actually stay up till 2am then get up at 6am and go the whole day, couldn't do it without my coffee. course i crash when i can also, lol.

ME TOO! Except I just do it without coffee lol. Like I tell people.. The human body needs only 4hrs of sleep to function

Sounds like you might be ADD or ADHD... I am and I use caffeine to calm me down when I am stressed. It sucks not being able to use something as a jump start when you are tired, however it was nice when I was doing tech support and got off a bad call. I would just go grab a Mountain Dew, down it and go back to work a little more laid back.

Codine also hypes me up instead of knocking me out. My wife will no longer let me take coughs syrup with codine because last time I was up for 3 days straight. She has since hidden the bottle from me or I would be using it to fuel my code hunt. (Not really I don't like taking meds and never take them for non medical reasons).

Interesting. I drink Root Beer to keep me up to be honest lol that or Pepsi. I was never seen for ADD or ADHD, just a laid back person that reserves energy when needed lol. Also, the Monster Energy Drink Assault, that one can keep me going. But its one of the few for some reason. Maybe i just lazy or something lmao. When I took Hydroxycut Hardcore, it had tons of caffeine in it but i didn't notice anything different when I was on it for a month. I am just a weird one.

Nah... Still hunting codes. I am at a lab on campus running 3 different machines at once working on 3 different things at once. Although, has anyone tried source coding the forums yet? I realized I have not hit that part yet...

I can't do energy drinks... so far all the ones I have looked at contain taurine (sp?). I am chronic depressive due to a low amount of a brain chemical called serotonin. Taurine inhibits serotonin production so its a bad idea for me. (Drank some RC edge that contained taurine years ago and it helped keep me up like caffeine does to normal people but if I drank more than 3 in a day I had problems with anxiety attacks that I had never had before, nor since when I quit drinking it).

Back on topic I am still digging for codes but so far nothing. Unfortunately being a Texan I took Spanish in school instead of French or German since I thought it was the most likely to be useful to me based on location. Though thats been enough years ago I don't know how much it would help me now anyway. I think I still remember how to ask for a beer and where the bathroom is but that's about it... and I don't drink beer... wonder how you ask for Irish whiskey in Spanish....

Someone had some luck deciphering strings displayed in source code by running it through a 64 Bit decoder.

Has anyone seen any other exampled of this kind of hidden encoding yet?

Most of the codes so far have come from Defiance sites themselves but a few have come from ads on mmorpg and like sites. Are there EU exclusive sites similar to gamestop/mmorpg? perhaps they run seperate ads.
