Check @DefianceGame instead of @DefianceWorld. Don't worry, I had been confused by it too until I found it.

In other news, I've been looking for things that have changed recently since it was hinted one may have been released yesterday. The only new thing I've seen codewise is that "YJuicp" (in the Google Doc) was listed as appearing in a background image is now appearing as part of a Defiance AdSense banner.
Military blanks are designed for optimal expanding gas as most assault weapons are gas operated. These weapons also require the use of a Blank Firing Apparatus (BFA) to function properly.
Blanks used for filming are optimized for flash effect to look good on camera. They are meant to be fired from prop guns that cannot fire real bullets.
Seeing as tho I saw no BFAs on any of the weapons I'd say they were all prop guns using blanks designed for filming.
Being someone who's issued weapon was an M249 SAW I can tell you, for the duration of those combat scenes, I'd have chewed through 800 rounds ALONE.
That tweet was total BS. lol
morning everyone, how goes the hunt?
So.....how many think we may find a code or two in the beta today?
true, but code or not you know if they play they're gonna show off some of the advance weaponry...
"Optimal" is a term I believe to be applied rather generously to them, considering that many times they fail to produce enough of a reaction to even eject the cartridge. If I had a nickel for the amount of times I've seen someone have to treat a semi-auto like it was a bolt-action I'd have... well, considerably more than a nickel.
Went back through and watched the trailer again. I'm thinking the majority of those live rounds they used may have just been for making an audio track of a fire fight to lay over a bunch of CGI action. Some of those muzzle flashes generated from the firing line when the super-hellbug is attacked seem kind of.... exaggerated in size.
Think I'm in with you on the BS point. It very well could be. I'm still in the camp that it could be a clue to a ark code instead of an actual statistic.
