well like you said its people with low post counts, they find it on google or something I guess and then when they see this thread they have good intentions to try and help so they share what they found not knowing the real ark hunting is actually being done in this thread.

I could not find the one you meant at 53, but the 41 code is HMD GRN and it does NOT work. Generally if the code is on a character, it's an in game model, and unlikely to be an ego code.

It's not a G, it's a Q. The 0:53 is on the crate.
