    well that comes pretty close. the shortest version would be joyful about misfortune of others. but its a bit more than that so it really doesnt translate.

    where was an YT vid i saw a while ago about words that cant really be translated. "Schadenfreude" as Subject or "schadenfroh" as verb was 1 of them. Few others were pretty funny. Like a word in Thai for the Time you need to eat a Banana.

    Long ago I started to create my own language just for fun based on circles, all vowels and consonants are based on circles and it is a langjae where the letter "K" is very important

    like for example the verb to be is

    Kut= To Be

    Kuti= I am
    Kute= You are,
    Kuta= She is,
    Kuto= He is,
    Kutuo= he is animal,
    Kutua= she is animal,
    Kutu= it (neutral) in plural the last vowel doubles with accent in the last like
    Kutiis= we are with the strong sound in the last i

    Ket= to eat, keti= I eat etc etc
    Kat= to breath, kati= I breath, etc etc
    Kit= To sleep,
    Kot= To drink
    Now as opposite
    kit- to sleep,
    akit (where a= negative particle) means to wake up,
    akiti= I wake up
    k-akiti= past tense I woke up “k” in front of verbs makes past tense,
    “k” at the end of the verb makes future tense akitik= I will wake up

    Example Akiti-k (sounds like kh) "Akitik mekak I will wake up tomorrow,
    meka= today,
    mekak= tomorrow
    k-meka= yesterday

    the word ka= day k-ka k-meka= the day before yesterday kak mekak the day after tomorrow.

    I shelved this for a while I may take it again.

    This was an old attempt to write the name Mario in my Kantazo language
