haha damn, I thought I was on to something!
whether they owe us a code it depends on their exact wording for friday
did they say that we will "find" a code? because if so then we never found one so they owe us a code
but if they just said that there will be a new code that day, maybe there was and we just didnt find it
they seem to be from urls that are links to pictures, i have seen them on face book and other pic urls. they did not work when i tryed them.
someone actually said yesterday that they gave us a hint to look on Facebook
I looked there and there was a new pic but with old code
I also looked at some older pics but came up empty
I went over the source code for the steam and tumblr page, tried every odd looking 6 character string I could find (even all the color codes) but no luck.
As for why they are reposting old codes, maybe they just want to give everyone who isn't looking at these lists a fair chance of getting them?
From the live stream I also got the impression that we need to look closer at syfy related stuff.
It's quite improbable but I thought that maybe they might hide codes in those banner pop-ups they have during tv shows to advertise other shows?
Granted they are expecting people to work to find their codes.. so they might not owe anything.

Maybe we should try input those codes different or something cause they don't work how they are on the URL
They may have a list of "Codes it's OK to mention" but that doesn't mean that they are keeping a close eye on our lists of found codes.
