"Hidden" Code list/discussion

What are yall using to rummage through the source content? Eye browsing through it for 6 digit code or a HTML/Base 64 decoder?

I was searching for <!-- since that was where first code was found in a web page.

EDIT: With CSS you could put arkfall code in ID or class, in an alt for img, hell you could even call a JavaScript function named 'CyT8UP.' ****, you could stick 6 alphanumerics just about anywhere in a web page.

I'll let somebody else decode Base 64 and read source HTML, I'd rather drink beer.

Howdy folks. While I've seen Defiance around for a while (I go through the Trion site a lot, having played Rift a good amount), but never really got into the game until now.

That being said, I'm always up for scavenger hunts, so the whole Arkfall code-itis has me in its grip. While I've been searching for a while now, I haven't really found anything that hasn't been listed in the player-made GoogleDoc.

Even though I haven't found anything of worth, I figured I put out some of the less-likely places I've looked, and the tools I've been using to do so. Just because it's been futile on my end doesn't mean it might not give other people ideas of where to look

I've been using this site every now and then to go fishing for Defiance ad banners for Google's Adsense. Nothing new, but I keep trying in case something else pops up. If anyone knows of a similar site with an actual working country-by-country breakdown, I'd appreciate it, as this one does squat in that department

Using these to look for anything that's been photoshopped into any Defiance related pictures and get better views of them. Tons of stuff to go through, but again nothing so far.

Pretty obvious what this is for. One thing I have noticed is that on videos which display known codes in the red boxes at the end, if you look at them frame-by-frame, it actually cycles through several codes. None of those have worked as of yet.

I thought I actually had something here, as whenever they go to link something it is usually linked with bt.ly or ow.ly and is usually sometimes followed with a 6 alphanumeric segment in the address (i.e. V8BidM when linking to their tumblr site). I just haven't had the time to go through every single tweet to verify if any have something useful.

Been using this when I happen to see something that might be a code embedded into a page while using view sourse or inspect page element (using Dragon browser).

That's the sense of what I've been getting by reading through the thread. Although one or two people seem to be bugged and are level 7 while still at 27/120.

indeed. some lucky SOB's have been bugged, they only have 27 codes but for some reason display being rank 7

that gives me an idea. it must be a clue! maybe theres 6 of them?? get them togther and use the first letter of each of there screen names! has to be!

and for good measure we will cut out there hearts, blood for the blood god! then maybe they give us code? yes?
