San Francisco: Removed an obsolete NPC (known as Charlie the construction worker by some).

Lame. This game doesn't have enough secret things or reason to go off the beaten path. And now you guys gotten rid of one of the few easter eggs?

Instead of nerfing the quantity of arkfalls could you instead fix all of the glitched hellbug destruction ones?

Its like removing the "invisible shotgunner"...I NEVER saw him, and wish I did.

If anything, ADD IN MORE, like A RANDOM GUY IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE!
, maybe a skitterling that doesent attack and cant be attacked...and maybe wants to snuggle and make cute noises and be loved forever and ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....

Ive done everything pretty much. Its gotten to the point where I just travel and hike the hills just to try and find anything cool...and its just dead..nothing is out there beyond a certain point. Not one person or enemy living in the hills or nitch corners of San Fran.

Like there is so much land mass with nothing to it.

- Reduced the spawn rate of Major Arkfalls.

yea, without the fixing of the glitched crystal arkfall now you will be lucky to get any key's.

the scrapper one you could still do, just took alil while longer, because of node being obstructed by objects.

maybe this has been done to help bring some stability to the servers, idk, i just know if the crystal so called glitched has not been fixed, this is a huge let down..
just because i enjoy farming arkfalls for keys, and i dont understand why it matters, outside of the fact of, maybe Trion is doing this to bring some server stability back into the game?

i hated it when they took out keys for emergency's, hated when they removed them all from the mines, yes the exp and 3-7 keys was a lil to much of a reward for 2mins of work, but damn, can some of the Vets who stayed around and lasted, can we have something to do other then help and answer questions for NOOBs?

i was all like hell yea, this patch looks to be all positive improvements, but then i seen, the arkfall thing, its one of my Defiance addictions, other then helping ppl on twitter when defiance's twitter account wont..

makes you feel like, sorry older players we dont really want to bother with you guys, just the youngbloods..

im still asking the question, why does it matter if we have alot of keys or farm non stop for oranges and syn mods? there is that many ppl buying with bits, lock boxes or now?

and why not just make some new weapons only obtainable with bits?
why not add a generic offline mode for working ppl who have kids and familys and dont have no real time to play this game and now with the farming drops and rates doing down, why not make it so when your servers are down and they cant play, why not make a simple offline mode for them? xbox live that, for say 10$?

and for everyone who says, oh i didnt know you could play a mmo offline, well lately this has not been a MMO,
ask everyone in Obsidian, i just grinded my butt off yesterday for hours and hours, and if our boosts were working, i would have alot more arksalvage and scrip along with item drops..

and yes, Obsidian clan has not been able to see any boosts or clan members or even use our clan chat in days now.. other smaller clans are not having this issue, but when you got 11weeks worth of boosts paid for, this is crazy not to be addressed or mentioned.

to even say, hey guys that clan is so big that its causing alot of server issues or something..
we just in the dark on that one..
matter of fact let me look on defiance right now and see whats up.

stand corrected, Clan Obsidian boosts and chat is currently working.. maybe for good, but idk, will keep fingers crossed.

couldn't agree more with this. kinda funny how they nerf the whole game just to nudge people towards paying actual money for lockboxes, when the simple fact is opening a lockbox isn't even worth the in game resources let alone real money!

Actually, Charlie was intriguing enough to have someone passing by asking me who the hell this guy was. I mean, Charlie generated chat discussion with random people !! And turns out we had a nice long chat because of our very Charlie !! Don't kill social aspects of the game, save Charlie !!

On a sidenote, the heatsink bug actually made those Arkfalls a little harder by needing cooperation (and some chat again, be it only "come on guys, all on the backside !") to grab the attention of the arm so it would stay turned to his back. Just saying ...

Pretty sure clan boosts are working again. The 47th tested the waters last week and clan boosts have been staying up appropriately.
