Also, these broken arkfalls, are getting fixed at the same time or before this right? You know, the whole spending 20 min destroying crystals with a bunch of noobs, only to drive to the LAST one, and have it invisible and cant be damaged...THREE (YES 3!!!) TIMES IN A ROW!!

Good thing your reducing arkfalls, because at this point who even wants to waste their time??

What about that dude that gets in my face when I spawn in San Fran. I don't want to see him eating his snack bar over and over. C'mon, important thing.

    DEFIANCE 1.022

    - San Francisco: Removed an obsolete NPC (known as Charlie the construction worker by some).
    - Fixed an issue that was causing some shields on the Paradise faction vendor to not show an icon.
    - Clan names will no longer show up blank.
    - Vehicles can now damage Hellbug Blast Pods.
    - Fixed a periodic issue where a Scapper Arkfall Armature could be placed before its base preventing the lowest heat sink from properly showing.
    - Moved the spawns outside the building in Freight Yard so you cannot be trapped inside.
    - Made the interaction with the Alarm easier in the Dark Matter Base.
    - Improvements to the Wandering Hulker Emergency to keep him closer to his starting point.
    - Reduced the spawn rate of Major Arkfalls.
    - Fixed an exploit that was causing melee nano-effects on weapons to give a target hit the ability to proc the effect for you. For example, in PvP if you melee attacked someone with a weapon that procs a melee syphon nano-effect, when that person damaged other people in the same match, you would sometimes get a shield and health regeneration as if you had hit them.
Sorry but it doesn't resolve any of the issues that I'm having.

Thanks for the fixes. My only real concern is whether Trion tested to see if the new outside spawning in Freight Yard leaves freshly spawned players open to sniper fire from the opposing team.

I'm also pleased that client/server side updates seem set to be bi-weekly now which indicates a structured plan going on in the background, always reassuring.

My personal bug-fix priorities would be:

    - Players' clones when using the Cerberus in Freight Yard being vulnerable to the opposing teams
    - Knockback situations that can leave the player stuck in scenery (seems it can happen anywhere)
    - Removing the bug where players can join a co-op instance and find they're ungrouped/in an apparently empty instance
    - Red Crystal Arkfalls - crystals not registering they've been destroyed and timing out the arkfall event
    - Invisible NPCs killing players (they're still about, heard about one in Port Stinson and Verdant Ridge recently, have experienced a few myself in other areas)

    Optimisations:

Faster character loading at character select screen
Less Server Timeouts during busy events
Less Server Timeouts if I've been online for a long time (it feels like I'm being auto-kicked sometimes just for playing several hours straight)
Subtitles sometimes appear and vanish in quick succession, annoying if you're doing a one-off Episode mission and can never see them again.
Announcer/EGO lines can sometimes sound 'fast-forwarded/sped up' when joining PvP matches or respawning during them.

Probably a couple of hundred more things to add but these are the main ones that spring to mind for now, hope it helps and keep up the great work!

When they introduced a new community manager, we expected that community manager to actually pick up the slack on a generally silent board but she has been on Rift more than she's been on here. Rift gets much more support than this game does and it's depressing.
We should start posting on Rift forums about Defiance issues, maybe then we could get some answers and support?

lol, I know I saw that.

So, I wonder if they just don't reply to some topics (even one THEY started???) or if they are just not around.

Do the Rift forums get more attention?

I say lets head over to the Rift forums and with our concerns and recommendations for Defiance and see if we get any support for this game.
