Well if Sledge is right about them still being frequent enough I won't be disappointed. Some people might not realize it either but you get a lot of salvage from drops by participating in Arkfalls that could be turned into additional keys if you wish. Not gonna lie I am gulity of tagging Arkfalls though lol. We'll have to see how frequent they still are on Thursday.
I hope in the peak hours there aren't too few of them at one time. Part of the reason I tag Arkfalls also is because of the lag I get in some of the really busy ones like around Madera for example. And if Arkfalls might be more crowded, because there could be less of them going on, there could be more crystals glitching out too. I think they should have fixed that glitch before doing this.
The whole reason I do the complete arkfall is for the salvage. It's quite a bit. If I turn that into keys, that's like making a total of 11-16 keys per arkfall.Originally Posted by maverick07
Exactly right mate! I can hit three or four good arkfalls an hour and have enough salvage for a Tier 4 or 8 Tier 2 boxes. Now that I'm working more on mods, 1 arkfall almost equals 1 mod box too. So yes I'm as guilty as the rest of tagging an arkfall especially when doing other things, but reducing 3 to 2 active just means I'll spend more time at one instead.

Doing that helped me when I was building a couple of my weapons. There's lots of ark salvage to be made on these things (a lot more than co-op). What I do now is I don't use keys at all until I reach the 75 max. I do so by combination of Co-op, arkfalls, and key farming. By the time I hit that mark, I am around 200k+ ark salvage. Then I go to the vendors, use the keys, use the salvage to buy keys, rinse repeat. After that I usually end up with a few good items, and the rest I scrap. By that time, I can even afford 1 or 2 more lockboxes. I've been more lucky with the buying in bulk strategy than with the buy them one at a time strategy.
And no problem with the guide. It was a guide that I wanted to have but couldn't find compiled all in one place, so I did it. I just hope people find it useful (and hopefully not get duped by these "Supa-Dupa Defiance Game Guide by: ImAguyUdontknow" with a cost of 39.95 available in 4 easy installments of 19.95 please just leave your name, credit card, social security number, and name of first born son). In all serious though, be careful of those sites. I was trying to get info on something on Defiance and clicked a link to take me to the site. Once there, I realized it was a scam but I couldn't close the page because it had one of those "are you sure you want to leave? cuz if you click anything I will virus you!" Needless to say I got hit by adware and spyware. If we, as a community, keep all available info in these forums where it is safe, no one will have to worry about these scams.
They did it so the little ******ed morons that like to whine about absolutely everything could have less hard freezes and disconnections. I can bet OP would also don't like if they would have increased the amount of major arkfalls because the auto-whine function is set on.

I think it is hilarious that people still actually log into this forum to call this game a piece of crap. Get a life. If you do not like the game, do not play it, do not post in it's forums, which by most people opinions is a form of trolling.
What is this "common sense" that are speaking with? If I didn't like a game, I would go play a new one. I definitely wouldn't linger on that games forums spouting whatever crap that only others who seem to not like the game yet frequent the forums care about.

It's the 21st century and some people still think their opinion matters to someone who differs. How many angry or negative threads have ended with someone who was for the game saying, "oh, I see where you are coming from. I guess I had the wrong opinion about the game and now I don't like it based on your opinion." AND to be fair, the vice versa is also true
