Steam Achievements

Are we ever going to get steam achievements? I know there are console achievements/trophies, so the code has to already been written to check for a condition, so a Steam achievement would only need an API call to steam instead of PSN/XBL to unlock. Thoughts?

I'm not really that concerned about them. My question was more of like a "Why not?" I mean, I have used Steam APIs before and we're talking about just a few lines of code. The code would probably fit in the space they just vacated by removing Charlie.

You can use your steam ID for Raptr rewards... which is better than nothing, right?

It would be nice to have. They're in the game and on the consoles. It just seems like the steam players are gettin the shaft for no good reason. A dev's official stance on this would be nice ...
