    Well they gotta stop falling sometime.

    Maybe they are doing this now to get the community used to the feel of them not being around as much because of the new DLC Monolith Arkfall. Would be weird having these thing be all over the place when they are supposed to be rare.

    It could just be badly worded.

    So instead of three or four Arkfalls at once and then periods of nothing, there will be constantly Arkfalls on the map but only one or two at once. Ie, they are spacing it out.

    Of course, unless we start collecting statistics of average amount of keycodes per hour and then do it again after the patch, we can't tell if it is a nerf or not. (For taggers and phase jumpers, it will definitely be a nerf, but that is what they are discouraging)

    As long as arkfalls stay up don't care how many spawn at once. But it seems like there are never enough to do as it is

    I don't know what game your playing but I see an arkfall about every twenty minutes. You can always switch a phase by going to one of your friends or jumping into PVP for a round.

    If they want to stop people from using their game mechanic of "hit an enemy and you get credit for the whole ark fall" they should set a cap of how much damage/healing you should do at one before you are given full credit for it. Even if you arrive late to one and manage to pop off a few shots on the boss phase, your reward should not be the full credit of the entire ark fall.

    If this was to reduce server stress, they might also just get rid of minor ark falls all together, and possibly reduce the occurrence of emergencies.

    This could be due to the fact that the DLC is coming soon Sieges will be coming back so the reduced time is a good thing so you don't have both spawning at the same time and having to choose which one you want to do.

    Currently you do not have to choose, you can simply tag the ark fall then go to the siege.

    Tagging bs like that is probably why the change was made. They couldve approached the problem differently, but at least they're trying.
