    What Would Entice People to Play PVP?

    Besides nerfing infectors. They already reward you with keys/script/xp, but that is not getting the job done (for most). I know Secret World started allowing PVPers to wear the PVP gear in PVE, but that did little to add new PVPers. One thought I had was a certain type of weapon or weapon skin that you can earn PVPing? Any ideas what could attract the general public?

    I like how the games are quick and players generally like that, but I want to see a DM go off the timer and not total kills.

    If camo was not perfect while moving that might help. Halo had it right, the move you moved the more the camo would distort and reveal the player.

    They could go with Tom Clancy, Future Soldier style, where standing up and moving distorts, but slow crouched moving leaves it mostly in tact. That way the cloakers would have to slow move everywhere while the cloak runs out.

    Incentives:

    - Top 3 hi-scorers from both sides or all participants on the winning side get a T1 lockbox at the end.
    - They could make PvP part of the game lore, i.e. there could be a main/side mission, failable until you end up on the winning side, where Echelon contract you to hold 3 points in Freight Yard from opposing mercenaries. No clue at all that you're about to enter Player vs Player.
    - More mixed PvE/PvP meta pursuits OR completely separate PvE and PvP pursuits which lead to the same meta-goal, players can select which path they wish to choose.
    - Faster queues, games could start with just 2/4 players instead of waiting for the full complement.
    - The addition of prone position for happy campers
    - The addition of remotely detonated devices for those that hate happy campers
    - Jet-Pacs with cooldowns and maps without ladders/crates
    - More maps in general
    - Implementation of PvP Stats/Leaderboards/Clan Leaderboards
    - Persistent drop in/out anytime you want phase for Human vs Irathient vs Castithan world domination across the whole of Paradise
    - Actually allowing XBox 360 users to equip/change PvP outfits (impossible at present, the PvP button doesn't work on the Character screen)
    - Unique in-game 4-player turreted vehicle for those that have completed all PvP Pursuits (PvE can have an equivalent, different skin).

    Oh if we are going to talk about pvp and pve pursuits, lets talk about EGO pursuit and how echelon needs to be moved to the pvp pursuit section and replaced with paradise.

    as simple as it sounds , what they need to do is making the PVP fun

    currently is just a chore to play it for the pursuits and a overall frustrating experience

    - waiting in matchmaking ofter takes longer than a match duration, if you're lucky enough to even start a game
    - (almost) all opponents are invisible
    - (almost) all opponents are using cheap loadouts
    - most weapon types almost usesless against opponents using those perks/loadouts

    If it was fixed. Our clan tried to play it last night and experienced what I have known all along-it's bad. People get credited for kills that were not theirs, people are credited with killing people on their team. The list of issues with PvP is a long one. Freightyard has its own set-people being shown outside vehicles far from where the vehicle is-easy kills, some people camp away from capture points to get these kills.

    Immunizers. In a word OVERPOWERED. Now, sure there may be problems with cloak too but Immunizers are the worst. They feature too many overpowered advantages-range, homing, they cause player blindness, they defeat cloak, tick damage, and bugs spawning to other players-no other weapon has this many features. The fact that they can be shot into the air and home in on an unseen cloaked person at considerable distance is absolutely ridiculous. And that's just one thing they can do.

    The other is the permanent poop shoe effect-I can't remember now if it's the incubator or innoculator that does this-it's the one that causes the poop shoes. Even once they're gone or you die, they remain until you use Blur.

    These are just examples of weapon and even perk problems. Exploits of certain perk strengths and rendering errors in the game that give some perks advantages also are problems. People remain cloaked even while shooting. People can have infinite cloak even after it was "fixed". People can appear cloaked using Blur and still have the ability of Blur.

    The game needs to learn how to count. Do any PvP contract and you will see it does not know how. If I do the one contract where you have to get 5 kills while using an EGO power, I have to get 10 kills that way because it does not count all the kills. And at the end of matches I have been credited with kills I didn't get and had matches where I was never credited with getting any, except I did. The tally is wrong.


    If PvP was perfect, it really would be better to have other modes than TDM, capture and hold, and big team capture and hold. In fact, I'd really like it if Shadow Wars was more about the real capturing of objectives. That you must kill all NPC enemies in an area to be awarded a capture of that area. The idea that it's just about capturing a beacon makes it just a big c&h.

    I'd like it if it there were modes where there were vehicles that had firepower the driver could use. 9 times out of 10 the passenger spot on a Cerberus is pointless and when using a turret you can try all you want to tell a driver to stay near a spot and capture or protect it but some drivers just like driving all around with no purpose.

    Other modes, please. Retrieval (capture the flag). Barebones, including different weapon types. Say, all players armed with only a pistol, all with only a shotgun, or whatever. Some no perks mode, some with a specified perk mode. A cloak and dagger mode-cloak and charge blades, since these will have a melee effect this would be more of a melee type game using cloak.

    I'd like a found weapon mode where random weapons spawn and players can only use weapons they pick up from the ground and ammo runs out of that weapon so they need to find another.

    I'd like an arkfall salvage retrieval mode-kill a player and get points for grabbing the salvage from the body. The game is decided by which team got the most salvage (maybe have a no teams mode as well).
