Trion promised DLC in the first week of the game being released, Iv abandoned my Xbox Season Pass for defiance because I bought a PS3 And I won't buy another one for PS3 if I even buy Defiance. But all trion have done is push back DLC release dates since the launch of the game.

If they really said that, then it shouldn't be difficult for you to provide a link to a source...

I think anyone who buys something that does not exist yet, is not a "savvy-shopper", to put it lightly. I would never preorder something that has no real description, nor does not exist at the time of purchase. I know that may not be constructive, but maybe some advice for others who get too excited about something to make a wise decision. Good luck with it tho. =)

Geez man you can't just expect a DLC to come out of thin air. Just like the game itself takes time to develop so does DLC. Trion has promised 5 DLCs so you will get those DLC, but just because you spent 39.99 on the Season Pass does not necessarily mean it will be on your time table. Defiance is still a new MMO and new MMOs take a lot of work.

There's buggy MMOs then there's Defiance. I have been waiting 2 months for them to fix some of the more serious bugs. I STILL CAN"T SEE MY FULL LIST OF CLAN MEMBERS!!! i feel like i paid $60 for Pre-Alpha access.

Why would anyone want DLC the first week? Its pointless to have DLC drop so soon when you still have the core of the game left to play. It would just be pushed aside or you would finish it first and still be asking for more DLC when the main story hasn’t even been touched. I need to get in the development business and just put out half arse games and include DLC every 3 days. Seems there is a market for it after all.

No, Gears had content on its disc that was locked unless you paid for it or had some other day-one incentive.

Trion stated numerous times at E3 that the DLC content would bridge the gap between Season 1 and Season 2 of the TV show. So, you have at least three more weeks.

Locked or not you can't access it unless you pay for the so called DLC. It's a crap method if you ask me. Any game that puts out DLC same day as launch is trash. Also I can't stand when say Marvel Vs Capcom 3 hit less than a few months a special Ultimate Edition hits woth 4 new toons. This is also a crap method that I'm sure well see all the time now since we have come to the digital age of downloads for games.

Again, case in point would be Dragon's Dogma - another Capcom game. On disc DLC (token quest, armor, weapons) and then they rerelease it with an expansion pack almost a year later. Don't get me wrong, the game is good. But the methods used are crap.

But i would like some things to be fixed first even more, no need to release a DLC into a game that isnt 100% up to par yet. 3-4 weeks i can certainly wait. Ah yeah, and put an auction house in it, dear Trion lol!
