    Dlc

I am usually the guy that blindly buys as Season Pass simply because everyone on my friends list is playing the game all out for the first two weeks of release. However, glitches, bugs, and time outs slowly weeded out numerous friends, followed by the dedicated few who played through the campaign 3-4 times, played every coop map 10+ times out of hope new solid content would arrive. Yes the weekly episodic content helped keep the game alive, for at least a day at a time, however even with these occasional minor update, the game finally got stale.
Now as the population starts to dwindle on a weekly basis, I have a hard time believing that this game will see any major support after the new systems release and the populations leave. I am sure that TRION will keep their word and release 5 DLC packs, however I believe they hurt their sales incredibly by delaying the first DLC so much.

A pass on the season pass for me.

I'm guessing they are referring to this:
    http://forums.defiance.com/showthrea...ll=1#post45863

When asked how long after launch the first DLC would be released, Trion said that there would be "a constant roll out of paid and free DLC", and when asked about the time frame covered by the "Season" in "Season Pass," they said that it iis "Longer than 3 months... shorter than 12 months." It's not exactly "the first week of the game being released", but by setting the short end of the window at 3 months for 5 DLCs, I can see someone getting the overly optimistic impression that it was possible that they might be coming out as often as every 3 weeks or so.

I suppose it's also possible that a buyer might have thought the Season in Season Pass referred to the television season and that all 5 DLC releases would occur during the first season of the TV show. Personally, I would have called it something else, since the game is tied to a tv show which uses a completely different meaning of the word season.

    Or possibly this: http://community.defiance.com/en/201...s-niiiice-wtf/

Nathan Richardson wrote "I also told you the other day that I was working on my omnipotence so what we also did to keep better focus on Live issues is that we moved the kick-off that was supposed to be tomorrow Monday for the next DLC, back a week."

To make sense of "tomorrow Monday" without punctuation, I'm assuming that the blog post was written on April 7 and posted on April 8 (which was a Monday). April 8 actually is within the first week after launch, and he said that was the originally scheduled kick-off for the next DLC. Now, it is entirely possible that he meant episode content, not Season Pass DLC, because episode content is always released on a Monday, but it says DLC, and he was talking about the Season Pass plans in the previous blog post that he was referring to.

Whether it was a miscommunication or not, it's to see how someone would come away with the impression that DLC should be coming out almost immediately after the game launched.

i think they're trying to find a way to get more money for it to have a better developer staff than the nerds they already fired, better nerds = better dlc lol

The season pass covers 5 dlc's. Trion stated these 5 would be released within a year after release. There's your time frame.

It is getting rather late for dlc. They must realize that when the new systems come out many players will have moved on to the new systems and new games. Both new systems should be coming out around November so end of July like they said in an interview is already very late for dlc.
On the other hand this game seems to run much smoother with less players so it may benefit those that do not get next gen consoles. I am thinking that i now regret getting the season pass

If you have lag in Borderlands 2 then it is your fault.
you gotta be crazy, you gotta have a real need.
you gotta sleep on your toes, and when you're on the street.
you gotta be able to pick out the easy meat with your eyes closed.
And then moving in silently, down wind and out of sight
you gotta strike when the moment is right without thinking.
