XBOX ONE Update from Microsoft - They Listened to the Players

Yeah, Microsoft listens to people. Through Kinect, which always listens and watches you. Not to mention the bad timing of revealing PRISM and that Microsoft was the first to sign a pact with NSA.

Other than that, not requiring discs to play was a nice touch, but if I wanted that, I'd just buy a digital copy.

stop you right there.. ps3's CONSTANT fail rate of .05% vs the 360, from 87% to 54%....

last time I mathed in skewl.. .05% did not = 54%.... (YES... that is today's current xbox360 failure ratio out of the box..)

I posted links showing the failure rate of the slim compared to teh PS3. both sit at around 10%. the 50% failure rate of the 360 was from 8 years ago. as it stands now they are identical to sony.

you claim that the PS3 has .05% fail rate. well since they sold about 77 million thats about 38.5k failed systems. now the truth is its near 10% which is about 7.7 million consoles. your number is a huge lie. i posted links with mine. why not give a link as proff of your .05% failure rate.

i already agreed taht teh PS3 was more reliable and better hardware, but teh fact that you still have to lie about teh numbers further shows you have no real argument.

also i should point out all those bricked PS3s? were going on 4 days now with no resolution from sony.

Why I went out and got a ps3 and money saved up for a ps4 and got Defiance. Also people on these forums talked up the ps3/4 a ton as well. Thanks to your post I found these and now showing people I know this

like i said i agree that the PS3 was more reliable, and i wouldn't be suprised of the PS4 is more reliable then the X1 either.

but perosnal experiance is a small sample
I've had a 360 last me 7 years. it RROD twice and both times fixed free and had it back in less then a week. then it finally died on me. it was such an old model it didn't even have an HDMI.

now my brother has 3 PS3s, he had to buy 5 cause 2 of them died on him. he just replaced them and threw the old ones out. I have 3 other firends with PS3s and all 3 of them had to pay for repairs to theirs several times over the years. i mean its luck of the draw. I know people who have samsung TVs for 5+ yers that haven't failed. I brought a new one and it broke in about 6 months. they came and fixed it for free under warranty, but still it happened and i was down a TV for about a week. luckily i have plenty of TVs around teh house to use but my persoanl experiance doens't reflect the overall picture.

I've seen way to many people with conflicting interests over this new-gen console war. Honestly, if it plays games, who cares? If you're a Playstation fanboy and hate the Xbox One, then don't buy it. If you're an Xbox fanboy and hate the PS4, then don't buy it.

Have you ever thought someone was stupid for saying their favorite sports team was better, either because they are their local team or just like the name? Because that's more or less what every fanboy looks like.

I know that people are gonna say this is irrelevant but I will say it anyway.

The 360 is Microsoft's 2nd attempt at a game console and the PS3 Is obviously Sony's 3rd.

And what happened with Sony's second attempt at a console? they had a dual drive system that had a DVD rom that burned out and left you with the inability to play half of your games (the DVD rom based games).

I know its kinda dumb to bring that up but just like Sony had to learn from their mistakes so does Microsoft, they have and will.

I have been with Xbox since day 1 and have turned to Sony. So as I sit I'm not a fanboy of either one yet.
