What's up with the phrase 'hard earned money'?

I know lots of people who work at jobs they enjoy. I also know many who don't enjoy their job. Some jobs are hard. Some jobs are easy. Money is just money. The money doesn't know or care if you had fun earning it or if you were miserable while earning it.

What's wrong with saying, "Trion is never getting anymore of my money" as opposed to saying, "Trion is never getting anymore of my hard earned money"?

The fact is the people like myself that bust our *** every day to have food on the table and a roof over our heads just want to spend our money on something worth it that took a week or more to even come up with. Plus it is hard to find work in the first place in this day an age.

Happy for you OP that you seem to be in the lap of luxury but for the sake of the rest of us please kindly keep it to yourself, we have to go to work.

Yeah. Most people have to work for money.
Doesn't mean that they're broke and are refusing important things in life to buy this game.

But people do not like wasting money.....normal people anyway.

I don't decide if people work hard for their money. Some do, some don't. I just want people to stop referring to the money they spend on gaming as 'hard earned'.

The one and only time i went bramble picking was ~28 years ago for the old lady at the end of the street. spent nearly 2 hours getting scratched beyond belief for her to make jam with a 20 pence reward. Then a bath that night with TCP(antiseptic) in it. Ouch Thanks mum.

No doubt. i have several friends who literally risk life and limb on a daily basis to support their families. im lucky the worst ive had to do was a 2 year stint as a traffic warden.

There is a difference and again I am happy the OP has it easy we all would love to have it easy, but we all don't so telling people what they do isn't hard or difficult is just plain ignorant of the world. Some of us have it easier with the style of jobs (although I would like to point out mental stress is a hardship as well) than others be it solving the cure for cancer or lifting a 100lbs box and loading a truck.

Please don't insult the working class.
