There are more than one, I saw one on land once I think. Plus the BIG red circle that should be a arkfall in the center of a field is a odd glitch too.

Me thinks they are playing around with something on the back end.

I'm sure you're right. But it'd be on a different server until patch/DLC released. Being out there is like free DLC. So awesome to explore.

It has been around fro at least a month that was the first time I saw it - and as for the "yellow line" I go out of my way to cross it! :-)

I did a assassins creed jump from the northern line off of those big "condo" like buildings (they look like steps) early on when I was bored waiting for my clan. Got up pretty high past the line too.

CTF game-mode confirmed. Probably first expansion, to release winter 2015.

On a more serious note, that actually does look like a CTF marker, and that's my favorite game-mode being a tribes player. I only wish we had skiing/jetpacks... the terrain in Defiance seems made for it (lots of curving hills/slopes).

EDIT: I only hope it wasn't another feature cut from the game because of other problems.

Skis are actually a wonderful idea and the terrain is perfect!

Exploring is probably not a violation, going off the map might be, but would be silly to ban people for that.. and that does look kinda like a CTF marker, which would be pretty damn awesome sauce.. I might even PVP for that.

Most games that has content added to them are which is why with all this recycling the company is doing it's not a WIP but a repeating disaster of slop thrown to us peasants too stupid to starve them into giving us real content.

I've broken into Fort Defiance several times now with a friend (even after they took out the extraction point), past boundaries North of Port Stinson, and North of Iron Demon Ranch. With Iron Demon, I was able to run along the mountain tops for quite some time, getting almost to the Northern most part of Mount Tam, near the tutorial area before it booted me out.

The only place I haven't broken into are the islands off of Southeast San Fran, and the lakes West of Mount Tam. But I'll get there eventually.

oh, on-topic: I have never seen a flag before in all my travels, but I've heard of other people finding them. No clue what they're for, other than boundary markers.
