Who Has a kill shot?

During a major Arkfall last night I was fighting the Progenitor. I fired up my saw and when it got to the last of its hit points used my ego power to hit it hard. To my surprise I got the critical hit on the Progenitor, but, in the arkfall’s pursuit “Ark hunting as a way of life III” I was not given the reward for the kill.

I just have to ask if there is anyone that has gotten this, or is there a bug that is not giving this to anyone? I did put in a ticket on the problem, however after reading some of the things people have said I am not hopeful in Trion fixing this for me.

Yeah I've had the reward for this. Can I just ask how you know you got the kill shot?

The same thing happened to me. I saw the Critical Kill come up, but I never got credit. I submitted a ticket about it and the support rep told me that there is apparently a bug that causes it not to give credit, but I had to go back and forth with him a couple of times, and emphasized the fact that "Critical Kill" did come up when I landed the kill shot. He went ahead and updated my pursuit to reflect the kill shot. So I would suggest the same thing - submit a ticket and tell them where and at what time the ArkFall was.

The "Critical Kill" notation pops up. That was the only way I knew I got the kill shot and didn't get the reward for it.

Because Critical kill only comes up when you have the kill shot. othrwise all you see is the XP for helping to kill it. I got the Critical kill.

I had a feeling that is what it was. Trust me im not letting it go. when there is always a lot of ppl at the arkfall it is not an easy one to get and could be a long time to try to get it again. my luck if i did it would just bug out again and not give me credit.

I thought they fixed this. Back when I did it, I got everything flip-flopped. Landed the kill shot on the Progenitor and got the Hellion pursuit and vice versa.

here is a method for attaining the elusive kill shot... use a weapon that fires sticky grenades with Manual detonation. Wait until the health meter is kind of low, fire, wait to detonate until it's just a sliver THEN detonate! Presto... Kill Shot.

This is how I achieved mine.

use overcharge and a courier will take some timing training but you will absolutely do more dmg then anyone to it and also will only take 2 rounds maybe 1 if everyone did this i got 14k xp using this tactic on this progenitor and using either the canker or infector not sure which 1 for the matron.

I have gotten the killshot on both the Helion and Progenitor...using a Wolfhound. It is possible.

I don't think it's bugged. I got both of mine. I just used a tachmag pulser. It fires so fast it's easy to strike last.
