I showed up like 10 minutes before the march was slated to start, and there were only like 6 people around.
Was really looking forward to the march, and was very disappointed not to get to go....
Sigh.

Did you "go to friend" and jump to one of the designated Event Leaders or myself? Just going to Headlands Transit isn't enough. You must be on the same server. Hope we'll catch you on the next one...
We started with about 15 (way down from previous) and had about 5-8 more join while under way.
I sent you a friend invite when we couldn't find you, but sadly got no response.
Well, I enjoyed it. I haven't had much social interaction in this game so far, so it was cool. It kind of fell apart after the AF for me. I think a lot was going on on the Clan Chat side so I was left in the dark. All in all, I would definitely be up for another.
Have you ever thought about only doing it every 2 or 3 weeks, that way the chat can build and people can look forward to it, it maybe that all your hard work to do it every week could be getting taken for granted. But stick in cap Because the death march is just too good and too much fun to die.
yeah. The voip... we wern't chatting so to speak, typing is much more accurate. lol. If your looking for social interaction, clans are the way to go. Just try to find a good one that isn't recruiting just to build their numbers!
Don't get me wrong, I have no intention on "giving up" on our event. I was just curious if this community had an opinion on it. After the last march and seeing such a drastic difference in turnout, thought I would post this to see if people would comment that it indeed was "getting old" or maybe there is a "better time/day" to hold it on or it is as simple as "another game" has everyone's attention.
Quite the opposite really. Me and my buddy joined in at the end of Death March 3, only because we happened to be in Mount Tam helping a new buddy power through story line. I had read about it and wanted to fully participate but then my real life friend told me he just bought the game. I wasn't at Death March IV because my stupid Playstation froze and I didn't feel like getting back on.
The idea of this Death March is one of the coolest things we have going in this game. It's a reason for me to want to continue playing it, at least on the weekend. I have all but stopped playing Defiance during the week. I still love the game, but I have done everything multiple times and the rewards I receive don't justify the amount of time I put into it alone. I play every weekend with real life friends, but playing solo has lost it's allure to me. I assume this sentiment has echoed throughout the community that has been here since release like me.
