I used to play with shotguns and blur and I've topped charts a lot of times using that combination, then I fell in love with infectors. I don't care if anyone thinks I'm a nab for using infectors, I enjoy it that's my preference. I'm not one of those players that runs out and just tries to get kills, I focus on getting captures to help my team win. I never claimed to be good at PVP, but obviously I've gotten a lot of recognition playing PVP.

I still withhold calling anyone 'the best' unless they play the objective. When I ran into Mtn earlier, no offense, he just sat in one spot near B with a buddy spamming launchers and infectors. Jx on the other hand... I ran right into at C and once more after that where he tried defending it. Freight yard is about objective play, and honestly, that match earlier showed me that those whom believe they are good via two easy weapons are not good at playing the objective. Before people on their team started capturing, it was literally 2,500 to 6,000. It came back to about 6,500 to 10,000 at the end, but still... That's just bloody wrong.
TL;DR - Stop basing 'best' around 1337 killz with infectors/detonators.

This lame thread still going? Fact is if people weren't complaining about infectors detonators and shotguns, they would be complaining about something else. At the same time, those people using them claiming they're the best would switch setups in half a heartbeat after a 'weapon balance' patch to whichever weapon was the new flavor so they could attempt to continue to claim they're they're actually good when all they really do is exploit whatever weapon is the current overpowered flavor. You'll see it too, watch. Take a look at all the names, and after the next weapon balance patch, they might not all be using infectors, but they'll all still be using the same weapons.
All I'll ever use as a main weapon is a sniper riffle off hand pistol or smg, been doing it in every shooter iv played and don't plan on switching anytime soon. Sniper 4 life yo

Everyone should use weapons they enjoy, but most tend to just use whatever is the overpowered flavor of the month. I bet if the plasma smg were still in the game, everyone would be using that.
Probably, I don't get how they can do it, I mean that's what makes shooters fun. Like I got a detonator in a trade and decided I'd give it ago for the first few minutes I found it funny but after that it was just lame and boring so traded it for a wolfhound
Watch, New weapons will come out slightly overpowered, while the big 3 get a slight if not dramatic nerf, then everyone will jump on a new train.
