Destiny will be amazing, not only because it is on the nextgen console but Bungie is making it
..

I bet money that the next version of solitaire that comes with windows will be played by more people.![]()

I hate to burst everyones "we love bungies dingaling" bubble, but destiny IS NOT an MMO. Destiny is never going to be an mmo. Its an open world shooter, with on the fly matchmaking, think more tdu2 drive around looking for people to challenge.
There is a max player limit on destiny of 64 people... thats not MMO, thats battlefeild territory. It looks to be more of a cross between battlefield and borderlands than an mmo.
Therefore I would like to put forward a motion of Elderscrolls online will destroy defiance (unless trion move heaven and hell to make defiance better) in terms of popularity. It will however be just as buggy as defiance (probably more so... its bethesda after all).
I also disagree in comparing defiance to destiny on xb1 and ps4 since thats the whole "next gen vs current gen" malarky.
Since Destiny isnt an mmo, and defiance is, there is no comparison.
Oh and as an xbox/pc player, I dont rate halo 3 onwards... bungie really sucked after halo2. Sure they can talk the talk, but experience tells me they cant walk the walk...
Let the trolls loose on my opinions, but do take them for what they are, informed (Im a game dev) opinions.
That said, dont get me wrong, I look forward to destiny, Im just not holding my breath.
A game that nobody has seen anything but footage from built for a single platform (at least at launch) is going to be way better? Wow good to know.
Heres a tip. Don't put expectations on games and you will never be disappointed. No gaming company has a 100% history, and every company polishes their turds for E3. I have seen nothing of Destiny that makes me think its more than another HALO .. and I personally hated HALO when it finally went to PC. Didn't see what all the buzz was about.
The Division shows so much more promise. That's the game that actually is going to make me buy a PS4. But even that I am not holding my breath for. The gameplay footage looks amazing. Problem is I wasn't playing it.. I don't know if everything is so fluid as it looked, or actually if its even fun.
The game from E3 I am most excited for isn't even an MMO, though it is an open world game... Watch Dogs. But even that with Ubi-Soft's very hit or miss track record with me is a potential hit or miss.
