Man, And yes, as long as there are people out there who "hate the game but yet can't turn away from the forum" there will be people like me who "like the game and can't turn away from the forum."

As much problems as defiance has, and bad choices, I completely agree with this.

The problems I like being stated. I want the game improved. I want more content, I want to do an arkfall that actually works, instead of USELESS patches that break even more....

but it has also given me a game to play, for 3 months straight for $60.00, that I have LOVED.

Last game I bought for $60 that gave me so much? couldint tell you....Dark souls MAYBE?.....in the past YEAR that's all that comes to mind lol.

So, yes defiance has its issues, but bashing it with no positives, will not happen on our forums!!!!!!!!!!!! go play something else if its not your cup of tea, or do constructive cristism, but don't come here, to a game we love, and be an idiot.

DLC was never meant to come out until July

FAIL

Another big patch? It’s Friday night and it’s tricky to rock a rhyme that’s right on time. We have a patch around the 15th but we’ve already started work on the massive patch that’s coming roughly 2 weeks later. There are so many things we can’t fix, add or improve right away and have to be part of a larger client patch. That’s why we have two planned. After that you should see a nice shiny DLC.

Taken from a community blog that was posted nearly three months ago (page 13). I see no mention of July in that, nor did it say or hint that it was going to take them 4-5 months after the second big patch. Trion did nothing but hint and say the DLC was comming after the two big patches (which it never did of course.)

If you hate Trion and Defiance so much WTF are you still doing here. I got strong dislike for some family members but that dont mean im going to call them up and tell them how much of an *@$*% they are. guess im not ment to understand the "Elitist Gamer" and there know it all mentality

I never expected "End Game" as its run in parallel with the Tv Show so its seems silly to have an end to something that never started at the games release

That doesn't report any digital sales. It's pretty safe to assume that most PC sales were digital.

The last physical game I purchased was ArmAII in 2009. And the only reason I bought a box was because I was in Iraq.

For everyone saying they love DCUO stay away from the watchtower. It will slowing creep into your soul and kill your enjoyment of anything related to online gaming. I got back into DCUO a year after I stopped playing the game because it is fun. I miss my Sorc healer with a bloody passion. A year later and I still have persistent system crashes every five minutes I spend in the watch tower. Lag on their servers gets so bad it can freeze the audio and cause feedback from their voice chat. And this was relevant from launch till two years after release.

Two years, we've had a slightly broken chat system for two months and you're saying it's worse than DCUO. You're argument carries no weight.

It will if in two years we still have the same problem with clans being bugged, but on the PC side that's the biggest issue. Chat has been plug and play since launch and for a PC MMO this is largly unheard of. Typically on a PC game you'd have to down load teamspeak, or any other VOIP and pay for the opportunity to talk to your clan or team. So it's a little buggy, and I do mean little, they've already stated they're working on it.

I'll agree that the game needs more endgame content. But If I get another six co-ops all on the same map fighting slightly different enemies (yes I am referring to the DLC additions to DCUO) I will be pissed. Those DLCs reeked of lazy and I won't put up with it again. Sure they could give hard dates for DLC added in 2013, they're already two years into the game and are just reskinning everything hoping people won't notice. Maybe they're doing more with the next batch seeing as they're now working with twice the development time of an Assassin's Creed game....

This made me laugh, I mean really do you even read the forums. I suggest you spend some time in the "Suggestions" page.

I'll agree the came started with a lack of content, whether that's a matter that they didn't want to spoil the TV show or they had to work out the bugs, but they are working on it and have given us an approximate release date within three months of launch. I'm happy with that. If they give me the same co-op mission three to six time reskinned with slightly different enemies and call it DLC I will be pissed. So far their list shows a willingness to add new content and if the added story missions go as long as the original batch I will be excited.

1. May be, but it sure seems like they purposely deceived their intent to lure us into purchasing the pass. I won't make that mistake again with this shoddy company.
2. I never knew of an omline game without end game? Just because a patch or expansion moves that end game up doesn't mean there isn't anything to do when you get 'done' I apologise you can't grasp the concept. Most can thus the issue at hand.
3. Proven it has had terrible sales many times over so your dead wrong and of course a lot of people at arkfalls. they cut it down from three to two so it would LOOK like there is many more people doing them.
4. Saying it doesn't look like failure is like saying being single doesn't mean your not dating anyone. =P

100% agreed. I don't say this for just anyone that posts because valid complaints are valid and can't be ignored, but the OP's irrational repeated posts indicate he does work for the competition. There's no other explanation for it. He comes back here with some frequency to claim that a game he does not like is not playable and is about to go away, has no players, and so on-something anyone with a brain can see is not so.

The fact that people can point out that others are playing it, that it dos not seem at all vacant when they log on to play, and all that just points to the OP's lack of use of his noggin.

I have asked him repeatedly to point out what company he works for because you'd think he would have moved on by now, and to also make a list of games that were perfect, including other recently released games. He won't.

There are people that have complaints that have a real reason to be here and should voice them-those owed money, those that like the game ok but can't stand the bugs, and those that like the game (want the bugs fixed) but are excited for the DLC (which does look like it'll be great). And there are those that just hate the game and everything about it-I haven't a clue as to why they'd still be here unless they're being paid to be. And again-I reserve that kind of speculation for a select few posters, the OP being basically the only one.
