headstart doesnt give you much... a lvl 1 new char would be as strong more or lessas your head start 50 EGO.

I hate headstarts, imo. Let everyone experience the game at the same time, there should not be favoritism.

Cant you just use the Beta client you have already downloaded, and just patch it on live? Would be alot easier than downloading a whole new client.

Well... you can and then again you can't... Can you modify your beta syfypatch.xml to point to the right servers? Sure but what else do you need to do? Can you install the live game into the beta folders? Maybe... BUT, what ever you do, it's not likely to be error free and Trion CS will prolly say it;s not supported. IMO, it's best to uninstall all previous versions of Defiance and get a clean install of Live. Of course, if you live in Australia... go for it to avoid the download.

He is saying that the statement is false. The Beta Client will NOT be updateable, a complete new download is required.
I've known Kahuna (Hergan) for a long time. I KNOW he isn't making this up. He is relaying the CURRENTLY official Trion position. Stay tuned, this COULD change.
