Making it harder to get keycodes seems to be Trion's mission with this game from Day One. All they are doing is driving people away from this game, I see it every day now. So many people I know simply don't play anymore, and the ones that do only log in occasionally now.

Back when they removed keycodes from emergencies a lot of people made a reasonable request - why not give just 1 keycode for the "longer" emergencies, or even go back to the key fragment system (where 4 fragments give you 1 keycode) and just give out a few fragments per emergency? Make people want to play - but no, instead they seem to drop everything to remove keycodes from the game wherever possible, and at the same time, remove what little content there is that might keep players around.

That's the problem with the up-front payment model ($60-$100 for the game, `$40 for the DLC season pass). They've already gotten all their money, what is the incentive to do any work?
Actually the reason the developers got canned was because the game world was basically done. They don't need them anymore and a smaller team of developers is all that is needed to create more content now. Basically happens with any company that makes an MMO today.

People are constantly buying bits and where is all this money going? Oh yeah patches that don't work. But hey at least it gets rid of Charlie the construction worker cuz lemme tell us that guy was a big problem. Andthankyou trion for getting rid of the few arkfalls that appear because the last like 2weeks I see maybe 1 major at a time and that's been rare. And I totally agree we should all buy more bits because the service is amazing and they obviously know how to spend their money.

i can see them getting to the point where the only way to get lock boxes is to buy with bits and for everyone else just kill stuff if u want weapons

    Trion is Bit crazy.

They just can not figure out how to get players to buy them. Of course they could just add UNIQUE things to the Store. Things that would entice players to by Bit to get them. Instead they were the way to rehashing retextured items and pretending that the new skin will somehow magically transform an item you can get for free in the game into something players want to spend real money on.

So they try to limit key codes thinking that players will be FORCED to by Bits. When that does not work, they limit even more, and even more. They refuse to admit that the reason Bits are not selling is their flawed logic. If you are going to retexure something and expect people to pay money for it, you had better have something awesome. Releasing a light brown version of a black hood you can get in the game is not going to cut it. You can better have something so spectacular that a player is willing to spend real money over getting a bland version in game.

Lock Boxes? I would rather take my money to the Casino and bet it on Red. Better odds of getting something useful over lock boxes. $5 on red = 50% change of doubling money. $5 on lock box = .000000001% chance of getting something good and useful.

Boosts? Maybe, if there was not so many issues with different types boosts.

Trion needs to accept the fact that their current path of limiting Bit is just making players who already have a plethora of reasons to be angry with Trion yet another reason. Trion can not figure out that the reason Bits are not selling is that Trion has done NOTHING to make them worth buying.

I bought some during the sale (10k for $50), and use them sparingly when I know I have a long play session in the works. At my current rate, they will last about 6 months, and unless they are dirt cheap I do not foresee buying any more.

So Trion. Instead of beating the dead horse with a dead horse, take a look at your processes instead of just kicking the can down the road thinking that more force will get your way.

You're forgetting about the 0 and double-0 spots on the wheel. There's actually only a 47.37% chance of winning if you bet on red or black. If the ball lands on the 0, both red and black bets lose.

AAAAAaaaaandddd that tactic will get them LESS bits by trying to force us to buy them. Not like bits are worth a damn like the oranges people are buying. So many suckers playing the game for the wrong reasons.

The game is a throw away I got my 60 dollars worth waiting for the dlc and then likely never buying another game from this company not to mention because of the dlc coming out in july I will no longer purchase from their store regardless.

Removed them from Mine 98 too, even though it takes far longer than 99 and wasn't even a desirable place to farm. But it was called Mine 98, which is practically Mine 99, and therefore must be destroyed.

I didn't have a problem with them reducing ark falls from 3 to 2 cuz that may have encouraged more people to actually do them and not just tag and move. Then again, you stay for the whole thing, you get a blue and a green. You go to it only when the boss spawns, shoot the boss a few times, move on to whatever you were doing, and you get 2 purples.

If they reduced the arkfalls from 3 to 2, then also reduced keys from the arkfalls, then that is just a bad move and seems counter productive

"We want people to actually do the arkfalls and not tag them, so only 2 will now appear. On top of that, we encourage people to complete them by also limiting the amount of keys you get." Hmm....
