So I got that insane patch last night that was pointless and took 3 hours. Patch failed then had to reinstall defiance.
Now I have two short patches, saves 5 times, then patch fail..and now I have to reinstall defiance.
What is this nonsense? Need a fix soon.
I myself, as well as several friends, are experiencing this time consuming issue. I finally have a day off from college, and can't stand sitting and staring at this screen.

I totally agree this reinstall scenario is ridiculous they need to at least set up their patches to where if they fail we don't have to reinstall the game because of it I mean I understand things don't work perfectly all the time but I've had to totally reinstall the game at least 4 maybe 5 times already and I've only been playing it maybe a month now come on Trion I love the game but this needs some serious fixing

But at least when I'm wasting time playing the game I am accomplishing something. Scrip and key farming, co-op missions, successful clan convoys. Whereas dealing with this reinstall, mind you when I did all my college work, I have nothing to do and nothing to accomplish :/.
