There are still world spawn areas to get better weapon skill grinding going, this would at least give people more incentive to actually do all of the arkfalls. Heck there are spots that spawn skitterlings in clusters, which is really mainly good for explosive leveling. It would still take quite a few arkfalls to level all your weapons up. There are way better places to do that like the hulkers or forges.

Definitely, I have a few weapon leveling spots. The point I made is kinda two fold. On one hand, all the people complaining about not getting weapon xp at arkfalls can be satisfied. On the other, all the people complaining that everyone is killing the skitterlings at an arkfall won't get even more mad when skitterlings become the number one target for everyone. It may actually deter some people from killing skitterlings, seeing how the real hellbugs are the only ones boosting your xp.

ONE WORD DESTINY..... I love this game i mean come on first MMO for xbox totally awesome and swords are coming out but i totally cant wait for Destiny to come out i mean im going to keep this game and sometimes play it just because of the sword and bmg combo but thats about it...

I can't wait for the division, elder scrolls online, and maybe final fantasy 14. All of them are mmo's and they are to my knowledge coming out for ps4. destiny looks cool. But it just doesn't look like it's for me. But anyways one more thing :3.

You said this was the first mmo? well from what i know phantasy star universe was. But it was a very old title. And it didn't do so well. Plus it required a subscription to play. Not a lot of people knew about it :P.

In a way, I'm starting to hope that Destiny turns out to be a "ho hum" game once it's released... just to see some people do a complete 180 degree turn on their: "just wait, Destiny will kill that ___ game" predictions.

The thing I'm starting to notice is that in the past I would skip arkfalls, I would think I just did two and I need a break. Now I'm homing in on every arkfall I see. Don't yet know if that's really a good way to influence your population, but it's happening.

I'm also now doing minor arkfalls, and most of the time before yesterday I would completely ignore them. Who needs to waste time on a minor when a major is about to drop and all that.

It has been a few days since I have posted on here, but this message caught my eye. I never really played any MMO's aside from Runescape when I was little and Defiance got a little tedious after 2300 EGO, so I popped in Rift.

Actually ... I downloaded it. I have been hooked since. If they could only mix the two games together. Rift is so fun and has so much to do ... they have Defiance to thank for getting me hooked.

No sieges.
Arkfall frequency has greatly diminished.
No incentive to complete the quest to rank up when modding costs require you to sell your soul for higher EGO weapons.
