weapon xp from major arkfalls?

Nope I think the only thing that gives xp at any major arkfall is the matron or fatbug as I like to call it lol.

You don't get any type of xp, except at the end if you put in a fair amount of damage on the last bug. But minor arkfalls for some odd reason give you weapon xp.

from what i gather from having a conversation via email from defiance support , we are supposed to gain weapon xp from major arkfalls. They have also said to send them a bug report but wanted to see if anybody else was having this issue.

AFAIK, only Matron and the Scrapper Boss are supposed to give weapon XP for major Arkfalls. Only Minor ones to do so are the 99ers and the Raiders.

What I used to do was use maxed out weapons for major arkfalls since the bar on weapons still goes up in arkfalls even though you get no weapon exp. Now that you can reset weapon exp, it is a hard option. It gets an easier choice once you max out skills.

I just use 2 maxed weapon skills at major arkfalls now (infector/SMG). As I just have sniper rifles to lvl up, arkfalls aren't really helpful to me.

2 bosses out of an entire host of crystals doesn't make using a unmaxed weapon on them worth while.

Minor arkfalls are better, most of them give weapon exp. Its why I stuck to only doing them for a few weeks.
