To Wipe or not to wipe??

Hi, I bet a lot of people are asking this question as well.
Are we being wiped or will we get to keep our last played characters from this beta?

I for one would love to keep hold of my character just because of the cool outfits i unlocked through the co-op missions and stuff. Plus the fact that I spent 2 days completing every single side mission, story mission and whatever dam well event I could find in the short space of time to get my rating up to around 440.

So for me its a game-breaker, if they wipe i literally don't think i can be assed to repeat every single side mission in the first 2 areas as I've already "been there, done that". I want to move up into the more interesting, new and fresh content that I haven't seen yet with my cool outfit.

That's also something I wanted to know, have the other areas been tested as well?

It'll be wiped, and from what I understand, they've been very upfront about it... I don't see why anyone would think that you wouldn't be wiped... especially when you're in a beta and could gain progress/EGO/scrip due to exploits, plus the 4000 bits that a lot were given to test the store.

Every beta I've been in has wiped the players progress, but there are still perks to learning the game before everyone else.
Just think, you already know the starting missions now and can burn through them and earn better times on the trial missions.

I still did every side mission knowing my character will be wiped, I used the beta more as a "test drive" to see if i wanted to buy the game or not. Needless to say, i pre-ordered after the beta ended. I had a lot of fun over the weekend, there were a few bugs, but I know Trion will squash them as soon as they can. One improvement I'll cross my fingers for is an improvement on vehicle physics, but as they are now, they are still more fun than any other mount I've had in a RPG.
