Resetting Weapon Mastery drastically lowered! Good job Trion!!

I got on today and noticed my blue assault rifle is now only 4,000 ark resources to reset it's mastery. Finally! Now a good gun finally means something! Now I can empty my inventory of the tons of guns I didn't want, but had to use to reach max skill level in that type. I will now keep only the guns I want, unless and until I find a gun I like better. Mods mean more now, guns mean more now, and searching for that next great gun means more. This is just one small thing that I'm actually happy with Trion about

Does it still cost almost 200k scrip to add all 4mod slots at the 2500ego range?

I really hope they lowered the cost for mod slots that was a salvage pit.
    When will you learn.

No they didn't lower mod slot costs. It would be nice, but now that you can reset your weapon mastery, you can keep the gun you really like until you find one better. That gives you much more time to save up arkfall resources. Blues only cost 4,000 ark and purples are 10,000 ark(I think). Gun ego level doesn't matter anymore, making high ego guns a lot more valuable since they don't cost an arm and a leg to reset weapon mastery now. lol I'm just glad I can keep the guns I love now!

Ha, guess you've not been on for a good while, eh? But yeah, it was certainly a good change.

The prices for weapon mastery skill reset have been like this for a few weeks, Oranges still cost 25k to reset, and adding the last socket at ER3500 still costs 131k ark salvage, so not a perfect situation, but its a start in the right direction.

This change let me use 2 guns instead of multiple greens to level up weapon skills, saves tons of bag space... or should in theory, i just buy stuff to fill the gaps.

Weapon Mastery reset being cheaper is good... the add mod slots is still prohibitively expensive and continues to get more and more expensive the higher my EGO rating gets (currently 3700+)

As others mentioned, this happened several weeks ago at least, so its not new. And while it was a great move to fix this as they did, the bigger problem of adding mod slots at higher ego levels remains. Its such a bad system that I started a new character that I try on purpose NOT to level up, and I use that character to try and obtain my good weapons. At ego 3700+, my main character is punished for leveling up because of the incredibly high cost of adding mod slots to guns, and many of the guns I got between 2000 and 3000 have only 1 or 2 slots open. This needs correction, yet I have seen no indication by any devs that this would happen, or even if they see it as a problem.
