I don't know about disabled, but definitely not functional as intended.
I had a friend try using it in group once, and he came out extremely garbled, but that's the only time I have ever heard someones voice transmit.

Sometimes the scales can be tipped due to word of mouth by a fan base.....or individual networking and promotion. A week ago I knew nothing of this world and now a week later hold it with much respect and have high expectations. Now share this wonderful find with any friend that has a min to listen.....gamer or not since the t.v. show aspect helps for promoting to non-gamers. Xbox gamers have a harder time due to what some may call a failure in the mmo releases up to now....or lack of releases.......maybe even Microsofts, "apparent" lack of flexibility when dealing with mmo developers. But a true fan base and proper networking can save any game......its simple the more people we get the play the more money that gets spent on the game the longer the games developers keep the servers on and updates comming.

How would one class "massive"? Its a subjective thing. I personally don't want there to be many people (at least while I'm on), that way you can actually play through and not have people doing your missions for you. I know that so many people got a shock when going through Delta Bunker West on their own when they were used to having 50 others help them on missions.

The other thing is...this wont be like other MMOs for a while, why?Because this is on xbox. The last MMOs were FF and PSU.Even those games didnt appeal to most. Now for a first time a shooter mmo has popped up on xbox console. This will attract both MMO fans and shooter fans.We all know the majority of players on xbox are shooter fans. They probably never experienced an MMO before so they dont know how to approach it and go off on their own.It will take some time in my opinion before people start to get very talkative and see what an MMO is.Im sure once release hits, people will make areas the designated AFK/Spam chat/sell/trade stuff/look for parties. This will then show and hopefully encourage people to use chat as well to accomplish things.

Its all a matter of time IMO.This isnt the PC,this is xbox.Whole different community.
