The recolor isn't what gets me, it is the 880 bit price tag. So if I want the complete patriotic 2046 Captain America suit, I need to pay over 12 bucks? Now if it is a suit I don't already have (at all, not the color), I would still think that's pricey but be more tempted to buy it. I would maybe do 240 and 120 for the helmet. That's still stretching it (I would need 2046 Iron Man and 2046 batman in the store also)

It's a trend in gaming... We get little because they do little work.

LOTRO use to hold festivals that changed every year - this year all they are doing is recolouring the previous outfits and calling it "new" Trion is now doing the same thing.

Least with Defiance I refuse to buy in game money, I learned that expensive lesson with Turbine.

I Agree about the irregular pricing though. It's absolutely absurd and the marketing division could actually have made far more if they had someone who wasn't devoid of rational thinking in charge.

It's cosmetic, you don't need it. Besides, it's gonna get pulled from the game once Marvel sues Trion into the dirt, cause it looks eerily similar to War Machine (Iron Patriot) in Iron Man 3.

I see 4 or 5 posts in a thread complaining on a site where probably the majority of Defiance players never go to or probably don't even know it exists...

Yet in game I see dozens of people already, running around in said Patriotic armor.
