It's cosmetic, you don't need it. Besides, it's gonna get pulled from the game once Marvel sues Trion into the dirt, cause it looks eerily similar to War Machine (Iron Patriot) in Iron Man 3.

Highly doubtful it gets pulled but I definitely though Iron Patriot when I saw the color scheme.

I see 4 or 5 posts in a thread complaining on a site where probably the majority of Defiance players never go to or probably don't even know it exists...

Yet in game I see dozens of people already, running around in said Patriotic armor.

Not really a commentary so much as an observation on my part.

I was on for quite a while yesterday. Only saw one person running around in it. If I didn't already have the outfit in another color, I would be tempted to buy it.

It's like owning a red mustang but wanting it blue instead. Would I rather go out and buy an all new blue mustang with the exact same features, or go up the street and just have the red one repainted for a fraction of the cost?

The recolor isn't what gets me, it is the 880 bit price tag. So if I want the complete patriotic 2046 Captain America suit, I need to pay over 12 bucks? Now if it is a suit I don't already have (at all, not the color), I would still think that's pricey but be more tempted to buy it. I would maybe do 240 and 120 for the helmet. That's still stretching it (I would need 2046 Iron Man and 2046 batman in the store also)

Give me that and I may consider it, though I still think one whole outfit is way too pricey when one dlc (when eventually released) will give you more than one outfit and for a little less!

I'll buy outfits provided they aren't overly dark and not overly over done. I can't see a reason though to buy the July 4th Heavy trooper style. I'd buy the SPD version before that, just because it is useful for more than just a weekend/holiday. And before you question if I'm patriotic, I am indeed since I am from a military family background. However, even I know when something is over the top on the patriotism. And hay, isn't this against the story line since Nolan said he once was an American in the astronaut episode? That would tell me that there is no America or U.S. any more as we know them today.

As for the EMC scout, too little of a persuasive suit for me to buy it. Its nice, but not for my characters. Might change my stance on this... may or may not...

As for the EMC Loyalist, maybe... not sure about that yet...

They finally listened though to all of us that complained about Rynn's and even the Special OPs outfits having the dark skin for the head but light skin for the arms issue. Its fixed on both the EMC Scout and EMC Loyalist. WOOT.

I liked it long ago when the outfits looked different now it's just color variety. I'm still hoping for something with some style and flare I mean literally you can do almost anything and the most we seem to be getting is re-colors of outfits we already paid for.
