my 360 controller has a stick movment stick need trions help to fix read please

so i have a newer 360 controller but i have used it alot lately and now it has a sticky movement stick that doesn't go to the neutral spot. so my character walks backwards making me respark fortifier shield basically useless the fortified stance perk that adds 15 dmg reduction well standing still. none of these work because my movement button keeps walking me backwards every time i let go of it.

this i thought i could fix by turning controls to keyboard and mouse an using xpadder 360 controller program and binding keys to it. then changing the dead zone spot to where the neutral position on the movement stick to a larger radius just past where my stick is sticking. well i found out that defiance automatically runs 360 controller controls if the 360 controller is connected to pc. even if keyboard and mouse is selected. so easy fix trion please pretty please change the controller options so that the 360 controller controls are only on when the controller UI is selected in options. then i can fix my own problem from there. short of buying a 50 dollar controller every 3 months im having a horrible gaming experience. i would be very grateful trion if u fix this.

it is a matter of time before all people on pc that use a 360 controller have this same problem as us hardcore gamers play and use are controllers tell they wear down. its a easy fix too just change game so u can pick to only have pc controlls on or only controller controls on at one time if that UI is selected. i hope you hear me out as i know you are busy and working hard on dlc and what not.

also if u read this message please bump it to top by posting i really need trion to see this message or im going to have to buy a new 360 controller and that's 50 bucks i could spend on a bit pack but its up to trion if they fix i can make them more money instead of Microsoft more money.

Have you tried another controller? My controller works fine on my PC. Most likely your controller is just bugged, or for some reason it's not self-centering itself when you start your PC.

If you've tried another controller, and it does the same thing, then it's the drivers, and you should probably uninstall the Microsoft 360 controller from your system, then reinstall it. If another controller DOES fix it, it's your controller and you just got a broke controller. Trion isn't responsible for that either.
